  1. its a young dog thing mate mine did it, he was the most clumsy pup he came good in the end, as a general rule the bigger the breed the longer to mature and dogs mature slower than bitches.
  2. the worlds gone fecking bonkers could have sorted the little shite bag in 10 mins, but fluffy bunny, flopsy wopsy would have been upset
  3. as skycat says dogs get programed easily mine are in a routine and if anythings differnt they ley you know it, not loudly like as they know that would get a response from me they didnt want. mine go out for an afternoon mooch everyday for an hour or two if i havent got time to do this i put them in the van drive them around the block, park up and walk then up and down the lane then back in the van and home. sounds daft but it fools them into thinking theyve been out for their usual run as for night time, mine seem to have a sixth sense and know whot im planning, they will lay down in the run

  12. true story this. agood few years ago 3 mates of mine were off out for as nights lamping with the rimfires. for whotever the reason they informed the police of whot they were doing,in whot area they would be in and roughtly whot time, ALL GOOD YOU MIGHT THINK, less than an hour after getting into the fields they were swooped upon by 5 armed officers and the helicopter, armed police place the weopon on the ground the full monty. they all swear to this day that they were used as an excersise for the armed response unit.

  17. back then if you new where to look it helped but as you say most encounters were just random
  18. strange creatures, you can push them out of small cover if you put them under enough pressure in the daytime, another habbit they have is they tend to pop out before a hedge meets another hedge as if they think theres something waiting for them in there. in dense cover like woodland they will give your dogs the run around for hours. ive seen most out in the open very early on summer mornings. seen a good few on the lamp but nearly always close to cover. how these people catch theses regular is beyond me.
  19. im fed up of the little feckers, 34 at the last count so far, in ivy, under hedges even out of rabbit holes and i mean deep in rabbit holes, and they recon the feckers are in decline too right they are round here

  21. seen then thrown in free with a pair of jesses on ebay . seriously! Its a shame how these lovely hawks have come to this, they transformed Falconry and opend up alot of doors for the bird control business's and display teams, plus a nice relaxed trouble free form of Hunting...... thats very true also made it possible for the weekend hunter (in all honesty the majority) to be able to get good results as you said without the hassle, but thats was also the begining of the slippery slope thats brings them to the place there at now, over bred and cheap as chips.
  22. rooks have trousers and crows dont or maybe its the other way around age it catches up with us all seriously if they were in a flock its a rook or maybe jackdaw
