they may well be equiped to kill ferrets but ive never seen one do it always bolt rather than fight. i have seen a ferret killed by a badger though.

as i said i dont attend shows, however i do go the local hunt shows and yes your spot on with whot you are saying. however you do see some sights at these shows aswell people with terriers all covered in mud ect :laugh: and the need to go dressed in full camo

berlingo 1.8 1997 diesel 50mpg been twice around the plannet and back rough as simo`s chin daytime motor only as the alternator doesnt work and its bad in the rain as i carnt put the wippers on

the shows are ment to be, for getting togeather having a bit of banter and showing the public whot working lurcher and terriers for that matter is about, chasing a bag is a much better alternative than anything else or do we release live bunnies for the real hunting men i dont enter shows never have but i wouldnt knock those who do as they are the faces the public sees and relates to our sport.

every time you go out with the a dog be it mooching,lamping or simulated courseing you take a risk, things happen, end off. not nice admitidly but they happen if you carnt handle this plain and simple fact you shouldnt be working your dog fact.

nice cross will make a good allrounder -
old spanish jabali side by side 12g box lock non ejector,double trigger,25 inch barrels,strieght stock. thats the good side the bad side its as rough as feck could do with some tlc all cosmetic i may add, the action is tight the barrels are shinny no pitting and fires fine, would do someone as a knockabout gun as its very light and pointable, 1st £30 face to face and dont as for pictures just read the above tells you all you need to know. located in leicestershire.

only ever had one dog that was prey pretective a 3/8 5/8 blue brindle bitch never did manage to sort her, all mine here now rertieve to hand a leave on command, easy life but theres always the break stick :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: -

as long as it has the ability and physical makeup to catch, then the type of cross is down what is pleasing to the individual -

its a pity you wernt closer we have a bloke comes to the old flapping track every tueday evening he is very cheap and will do any quantity i do believe he also a nottingham on a monday.
