i know after that very cold spell last winter,when the rabbits started to breed the numbers were well up on the previou spring, however alot more than normal have now fallen to the virus, vicious circle.

i was told its passed from a fly , so its in the air. Never heard of humans passing it either from clothes or boots.?? Can be passed by the fleas, and they can transfer from the rabbits to dogs / ferrets etc and moved from permission to permission etc. is also spreed by birds and live stock as well as fox`s,badgers,hedgehogs infact anything a tick or flea can hitch a ride on whilst feeding. yes they tangle but a net is suppose to tangle rabbits as well as purse i must admit they are a nightmere but you carnt knock there catching capabilities. 10oz or 12oz are spot on mate far easyier to handle and store

Is that for a single person or a family?Hubbie,wife and 2.2 ? a family. but i think he said you also need a wood and a pond/lake or stream his book the complete guide to self sufficency is very good a cheap aswell. he built his own house, adaptions like the cooker/heating system doors are on the outside of the house close to the wood shed ect.

there a flock near here thats decided to roost on the power cables opposite a morrisons store adjasent to a busy roundabout the displays are very impresive but ill be surprised if there isnt an acident before long as they display over the roundabout.

Yes but it is getting hit every year because your leaving them on the land.Get rid off them and you get rid off mixy.Yes they can breed again but if it on the land they will get it in the end if a rabbit survives it does become imune but that immunity is not passed on to any offspring. killing and removing infected rabbits will not work as the virus is spread by the fleas and tics that feed on the rabbits, buzzards and foxes will clear most infected areas rapidly, only nature has the ability to sort infected areas until such time as they either develope full immunity or man creates a cure, n

just leave the holes that are in the open if you know what i mean, personally i tried nets a while ago and found them to be pants better off without them. if youve smoked it well and theyve had a good lung full they will be alot slower than normal. if possible block off areas with old boards or plastic/tin sheeting so they carnt get far. and most of all have fun

seal as many holes as possible just leave enough for 1 terrier to cover if it does bolt its highly likely to be disorientated by the smoke if it doesnt bolt it will die underground. i use a petrol hedge trimmer engine mounted on a block of wood, just add extra oil and fannys your craddock
