That’s why I made the point. Suicide rates are a very complicated issue. I live in Flanders & here it’s all about having a couple of 50k motors on the drive or one of the numerous Tesla’s & a 700k house is the norm, but it looks like suicide rates are some of the highest in Europe! Though schooling is excellent & health care is really good..etc That said, maybe an abundance of a ‘show of wealth’ could be a contributing factor? (Though it doesn’t surprise me with the Belgians)

Apparently Belgium, France & Ireland have the highest suicide rates in Western Europe. I doubt Nordic suicide rates have much to do with general prosperity?

Hello mate, I hope all is well with you & yours? ? Yeah we are out regularly, she’s active 7 days a week, but not always hunting. It’s been a bloody struggle to get the flights I want to be honest (I don’t car hawk) & I will have to assess at the end of the season whether it’s worth carrying on with her or get a musket or male gabar for small stuff, just for fun! Though we do get results. Here’s a pic of a pic from the other day. Still no smart phone ? -

A short term PR disaster for sure. Claiming to not to be able to sweat “at the time” surely insults the intelligence of even the most blindly loyal royalist, let alone normal folk? His life will be a little awkward & uncomfortable for a while, or maybe not? Judging by his arrogance, but no worse.

Yeah we’ve had some great food in San Sebastián, but will stay overnight next time on the way to Galicia. We have a long term plan to buy a property in northern Spain maybe in 5-6 years time, so we need to do our homework..... so yearly visits from now is essential ?

Spanish mate. Last couple of years we have stayed an hour from Bilbao in the mountains & in Bilbao last year. Next year San Sebastian, then further along to Galicia. One day we drove from where we were staying in the Basque mountains to Zaragoza, then back via Pamplona to tolasa & casa Julian restaurant in 11 hours with a 6 & 4 year old. We ain’t lazy mate! ?

We always drive down via Bordeaux & into the Basque Country along the coast. If I can’t get it I’ll hold you to that offer ? cheers for the suggestion ?

Here you go mate....... this made 4 pasty’s 1 back leg of hare 100g of chorizo (diced) 1 carrot 1 onion 1 celery stick 1 garlic clove (finely chopped) 500ml of chicken/beef stock 50/50 mix....... or whatever! mixed dry herbs I fried the chorizo until it released its oil then set aside & then browned the hare leg in the chorizo oil Meanwhile I fried the vege in duck fat then added a bit of flour to thicken the liquid for when I added the stock. I then added the rest to the pot & slow cooked on a very low oven for 4-5 hours. Once coo

It was different times for sure, but pretty much most retrospective acounts of his personality has him down as a psychopath even though they left him charge of broadmore. He didn’t just associate with aristocrats, he was regarded as a confidant to some royals, without any known close friends himself & still living with his mum. Truly f***ing bizarre to say the least! Perhaps the most bizarre story in living memory regarding the royal family........ one that can’t be overlooked in my humble opinion.

It’s pretty obvious mate. The royals & high profile politisitions, namely thatcher etc etc had cosseted the guy & elevated him from just a creepy dj, which is all he f***ing was!!! to something far greater so it was going to be far too embarrassing & perhaps revealing to drag him through the courts. He was also a socia/ psychopath that would drop anyone else in at it at the drop of a hat. I didn’t see Dave lee Travis hanging out balmoral, did you? ?

I don’t buy that mate. I think aristocrats are far more ‘in the know’ than your average fuckwit on the street. Rumours abound for years about saville. This sounds fanciful, but I never forget a fairly well connected eastender in his late 60s in the mid 1990s telling me Saville was a nonce & Prince Charles was complicit & I laughed in his face! I do like strong cheeses. Never heard of Catalan fuet....... this may be a stupid question, but do you think I’d get it in the Basque Country or near by regions? We will be there again in the area next year ?
