Apparently hanging out at a convicted nonces house was a matter of convenience & honour? I guess it must be tough for him to find places to stay. maybe he should try Airbnb.......
This is the third attempt at making pasty’s this week, starting with braised venison in the first batch, then chicken, garlic & shitaki mushrooms in the next & finally the best..... Hare & Chorizo, which was the bollocks!
Yeah mate that’s the one, I don’t know what’s happened to me. Had a mate here last week & he was wtf?
Even got the matcha bowl......... fully paid up member to the wankery club! ??
I come very close to getting kitted out with a compound myself, but opted for a fairly decent recurve bow in the end & got set up with a bow hunter/retailer who ran his business from home. I just didn’t think I could be arsed with the technical ‘fcukery abouty’ if I was only shooting targets out the back of mine.
If I ever get a hunting license then of course I’d opt for a compound.
Hope you get what you want mate
That’s brilliant!
I googled it & it reminded me of Holbrook military school in Suffolk where I had permission to hawk near by. I almost had permission within the school grounds after an interview with the head until the school gamekeeper got wind of it!....
....alas my gos never made a kill on their playing fields.....

Sorry mate not trying to compete with you! ? They kept me dry (hence the name dry-plus) & are very hard wearing for digging, so thought worth a mention & deffo not a bullshit brand. Been using the upland thorn proof trousers for over 10years, then the dry-plus & they are great value.
Sorry about the shit pic lads, but the trousers I’m wearing there are Cabelas dry plus upland briar proof pants (yes pants! Americans!)
They are by far the best bottoms I’ve worn digging. Obviously not 100% waterproof, but that combo always kept my legs warm & dry. Also extremely durable & cheaper than bullshit hunting brands.
I quite agree. Complaining about a smudge on a glass or a slightly over cooked steak or worse still taking it all out on some poor waitress that’s just trying to earn a few quid is not me at all. It’s feeling completely ripped off or treated badly will see me getting vocal with whoever is managing the place.
Belgium can be especially bad regarding these things. In fact I’ve rarely had a guest here who hasn’t mentioned it during their visit. It can bring out the worst in you! ?
A place near me does a braised pig cheek dish which is so f***ing good. I’ve tried to replicate it, but not quite pulled it off to that standard yet....
