  1. I feed my dogs on those! Don't the bowls fall of its back...........
  2. i would get the bitch done as she is older and fully devloped it will give the dog time to fill out and then if its still a problem get him done in a year i have two bitchs who are both done and two entire males they live happly side by side no humping because the bitchs never come in to season my staffie x has coverd other bitchs so i know that hes not gay dogs can still smell a bitch in season if you have had him done so although you wouldnt have pups it can be bloody anoying if everytime your bitch comes in to season he starts humping every thing in sight
  3. right thats another lot gone thanks to the two members who are giving some of the ferts homes this brings my total this year to 52 ferts rehomed :thumbs-up: i now have room for more if any of you in the surry area are stuck with ferrets by stuck i mean you have tried to rehome and have a few leftover / more than expected i am happy to take them. think i must have mug stamed on my forehead
  4. thanks mate i do try to educate people on neutereing etc but a lot of the time i take the adults too mostly people who get one ''cos there cute'' then dont handle them enougth and get bitten then they dont want them any more.
  5. i was thinking that they were strange looking rabbits but wasnt sure if anyone was on same path as me and what they working clover?? only joking there cool
  6. if your struggling with distance obediance i would cosider the collar make sure the you give the voice command first if the dog dosnt respond them give the command again and then zap the dog it will learn very quickly that if it responds to the voice first it wont get zaped
  7. i have two pure greyhounds and to crosses both all four work and i have to say that the ammount of injuries the two greys get far out way the crosses there skin tears so easily the staffy cross and collie cross (touch wood) have only had one accident each resulting in a trip to the vet the greys have been to the vet over and over cuts down to the bone flaps of skin hooked on fences etc etc if im going somewhere open the speed of the greys is needed if it wooded they are more likly to run head first in to a tree
  8. i think you would be best with a rover
  9. now i dont know who to trust
  10. will keep my eyes open have you got any pics hope you find him soon
  11. i said haylege nets as i can get these for free and they are much thiner and small holes ? i have never needed my own nets as i always ferret with a friend who has far more kit than all of us could ever need and like i said just putting it out there sorry dint know there was a difference, have alwased used hay nets for either. no worries
  12. i think if your going to buy from a fair take care its a risk yes you can pick up a nice horse at a snip of the price but its very easy to dope a horse to make it seem calmer than it is and to give bute etc to hide lameness if your not bothered about the chance that your hard earned money might get swallowed in vets bills or can afford it then take a chance ! i know people who make a living buying at fairs and selling once they have brought the horse on but they have years of experince and even they get stung sometimes
  13. why do you presume all travellers pinch dogs and lay tarmac Ass hole. where dose it say all travellers he said pikies and unless you were there how do you know that it wasnt a pikie that stole the dogs its a well know fact tha if you lose a dog it might well turn up on the local pikies site a friend of mine had her dog stolen and the pikies "found" it and offered it back for a reward and a reward they got
  14. that made me chuckle i think you mite find hay nets a bit thick not sure the rabbit will tangle in it very well but by all means have a go and let me know how it goes plus that would me an expencive way of doing it unless like me you cant be bothered with untagiling hay nets so just get a new one. i said haylege nets as i can get these for free and they are much thiner and small holes ? i have never needed my own nets as i always ferret with a friend who has far more kit than all of us could ever need and like i said just putting it out there
  15. a big thank you to those who have room for one more fert most of the current batch of ferts are of to new homes in the next week or so i have left one albino hob (kit) i cant keep him as i have allready decided to keep his dad and brother i wont be breeding from them as i have had my girls done but if i cant find him a home that makes a lot less room for the next batch that comes my way
  16. hi mad just spoted this if your problem hasnt gone yet try mars bar on your trap it works realy well and the little buggers have to chew it of we had rats in the roof a couple of years ago they had found a small opening under the eaves above our coal shed and were runnig up the wall cavity !! the noise they made was deafning why im telling you this is if you can find out how there getting in trees close to the house flat roofs etc then block the hole with wire wool they wont chew it as it gives them a mild electric shock a bit like when we bite tin foil
