    The n870 will go 400 yards easy , with the right ir add on , i.e. T67 , or better the evo 75 I've got the 75 on mine , and crustal clear at 350/400 yards Atb

    The reason I asked , was some times zeroing the n870 can be a pain if you run out of adjustment , i.e. 40/40 , At least with a lazer sight , you can get a fair idea where your at , in the garden , and adjust accordingly then a final trim up in the field Atb
