    went out last nite at 8.30 , the wind was very favorable blowing down the wood line strate into my face , I put out 3 tins of dog meat , with mixer , and some chicken wings at 150 yards from the truck , had the .223 sat on bean bags on the bonnet, loaded and safety on got back in the truck, with the passenger window down, looking out thro with the nite spotter, the fist one came along after about 10 minutes, I shouted at it but I don't think it heard me as it just kept munching away , I waited till it was head on and took the shot in the bib (bottom fox)' it hit the deck , gam

    Pulsar 870/970 imo is more than good enough for any type of shooting if you've got the right ir on board . I.e. Ward b 501 ruby sun pill. , I ant joking 600 yards easy with spot on recognized target thermal , all the way if you've got a gold pot under your bed ( but why ) don't know why Jon it gives you a head ache , ? Plus the range finder is invaluable at nite you might get a n870 for 700/750 these days and really it's hard to miss almost like cheating ( sure shot ) atb lads

    SL its a 25 mm body same as the t20 ive got a spare adjustable torch mount waver rail defo fit the 970 , if you want it till you get one , no probs let me know Atb forgot to say it's the RUBY pill you want

    U addons can be like marmite, I've had the tv screen type , robin foxer on u tube uses the nite sight viper , I had one and didn't like it , your face lights up like black pool illuminated, and a un natural shooting position, ive had the ward 800l , add on , with the right ir , there quit good , but sold it SL is right , spend once not twice , dedicated NV , And spotter . Is the way to go I've got the pulsar 870lrf , it's a bit dated now , and with the ward b501 torch on top with the ruby black sun pill, I ant joking 600 yards easy , and crustal clear there
