  1. I thought Footy done enough to win that fight,I gave him the first 5 rounds and he also had the knockdown in the second as well as taking the fight to Leather. It did get a little scrappy in the later rounds but I had him winning it by 2 rounds. I don't know what was going on with the mouth pieces but they were not a good fit at all and cost him a point.Leather was complaining to the ref all the time, not really a sign of a fighter who is winning the fight and also at the end he looked like he knew he had lost.At the end of the day its boxing so hopefully they can have a rematch, I would not mi
  2. The hardest part for Joshua is not winning the fights with Parker and Wilder to become Undisputed Champion it will to be to actually to get them in the ring for the fights to take place.Ok Wilder has a punchers chance and a bit of movement to bother Joshua and that's all against Joshua and as for Parker it should be an easy night for Joshua. The biggest fight in the Heavyweight division is without a doubt still a fight between Joshua and Fury.Hopefully Fury is allowed to box again and take a few warm up fights which he will need and then for Joshua to stay unbeaten in the meantime and then set
  3. Wilder might not even get a shot at Joshua if the WBC do Povetkin any justice . Povetkin has now been cleared by the WBA,WBO and lastly the WBC will clear him early next year of the failed drug tests that never were failed. Talk about Wilder being protected ? This was obviously done to get Wilder out of the fight in Russia with Povetkin after the Russians promoter won the purse bid to stage the fight in Moscow ! Rumours are that he will still have to wait over another year at least before Wilder even considers fighting him despite being Wilders mandatory since 2015 and in that time Wilder
  4. Seems strange on a site like Boxrec that they don't have a Joshua down as enrolled in the VADA clean boxing program. The way Joshua gassed in the Wlad fight he's better off dropping weight than keeping it on.You can bet Joshua's future opponents are going to try and use Wlads blueprint of keeping him busy all round every round using the full ring to gas him out,not many would opt to go toe to toe with him. Wilders already got his next opponent,Dominic Breazeale, unless Wilder goes for a unification fight with Joshua which trumps a defence,to be honest I would be surprised if Haymon allows
  5. Just the powers that be doing there usual tidying up of loose ends like they did after 911 .
  6. Wilder showed nothing tonight that we have not already seen umpteen times in the past against poor opponents.Wilders opponents have been so poor he has not needed to learn any Defence and carrys his hands down by his waist, and as always still only develops power in wild telegraphed punches. Wilder knew from the start that Stiverne was no threat and set about from the start showing him no respect at all. Wilder will now fight Breazeale who stopped Molina last night, why Wilder is not fighting Whyte who is ranked next in line is anyone's guess. Wilder does have speed, power and a bit of movement b
  7. Used to eat pork as a kid,but then after ratting for years as a teenager in piggeries with terriers and Airguns the smell has never left me and one whiff of cooked pork and that's it,can't face the stuff.
  8. At the Joyce fight other week Haye did look a lot lighter than he had been for the first fight,a lighter mobile Haye should destroy Bellew,if not he needs to hang them up .
  9. Wilder himself must look in the mirror and see a complete fraud looking back, without a doubt the biggest paper Champion ever. When he's alone away from the cameras he must be full of self doubt even he must think "I fought nobodies to get the title and I've defended the title against nobodies". He's fighting Stiverne tomorrow who he had already beat 2 year ago and Stiverne has only fought once since then, a points win over journeyman Derrick Rossy. To make matters worse if Wilder does win he will be fighting the winner between no 6 ranked Dominic Breazeale and no 12 ranked Eric Molina both who

    New layout

It's not an easy read on here now compared to how it was, thought an upgrade made things better ?
  11. Depending on field size, location and what your running either the 170 Striker or 240 Blitz,I've also been using for a while the smaller 140 Lance with 100 watt bulb fitted .
  12. How many opponents has AJ punched on the floor and how many Refs has he pushed? He punched Airich whilst he was sitting on the floor. He started punching Kisicek after the ref stopped fight and had to be dragged away. He shoved Howard Foster away at the end of the Dillian Whyte fight.
  13. Young 56Patterson 71 Norton 70 Frazier 67 Ali 74 Lyle 70 Quarry 53 Only two real early deaths,Quarry had his last bout at 47 and died 7 year later from Dementia Pugilista ( blows to head) a boxing brother of his also died of this and the other brother who also boxed died of Parkinson's,believed to have come from boxing.Youngs boxed till 39 and had drug and legal problems, his attorney said he had symptoms of traumatic brain injury due to boxing. He died of a heart attack in 2005 . Joshua has punched opponents on the floor and pushed refs, anybody else would have been disqualified. Bein
  14. I posted that a while back on here.Proper boxing back then, if you beat the count you could continue, refs have too much influence in a fight nowadays.
  15. Whyte is over rated,he didn't deserve the win over Chisora and to be fair neither did Helenius when he fought him . Joshua weighed in at a career highest,I thought he would have came in light after he gassed so quick last time out .
  16. The fac Rapids do go for a lot less than the 12ft/lb versions .
  17. I was watching a documentary on Discovery one night about the escaped Pythons in the Everglades that are creating havoc with the natural balance of flora and fauna as they have no predators there despite authorities doing there best to hunt and kill them at every opportunity. The size of some of the animals that these Pythons are able to kill and then devour is unreal. There was a case of a couple waking up during the night and finding there "pet" Python stretched out in a straight line alongside them which they thought was ok until an expert said that the Python was measuring them up to see if
  18. As already said "History is written by the winners" but no matter how long , the truth will always come out in the end !
  19. I don't think he would because he wouldn't throw enough punches Fury only throws enough punches to set the distance and keep the fight were he wants it,keep Joshua busy for 5 rounds and he struggles to throw punches.Fury is a boxer so more so more conservative with his shots,Joshua on the other hand is a slugger so loads up on more tiring shorter power shots.Be interesting to see if Joshua's stamina is any better if he comes in lighter for this fight against Takam.
  20. Good win for Burnett but Hyland got lucky tonight,Collins was furious with the result .
  21. Anyone else not rate Joshua ? Joshua has his faults but nobody has been able to fully exploit them yet so hes still unbeaten.Wlad showed the Blueprint how to beat him, keep him busy every round, using movement and the full ring and keep things at range while throwing punches in bunches and he will gas out ready for the stoppage. Allow Joshua to control the pace and distance in the fight and he will ko you with one of his big shots.Fury has all the attributes necessary to beat him like ive mentioned before, but by the time Fury is ready to face him I believe Joshua will have already been beat by
  22. Be a good fight if they ever do meet again as they dislike each other so they will be well up for it.Degale has too many miles on the clock and is a lot easier to hit now.It all depends on how Groves does in the rest of the tournament hes in,but for me Groves beats him for a third time imo .
  23. Cox will come again hes a good come forward entertaining fighter, just was not good enough tonight despite Hearn talking a load of bollocks about Groves.Groves is a different fighter now to the one that Froch beat,a lot more mature and now seems to have his confidence and nasty streak back but a lot more calmer as a fighter, like a seasoned battler nowadays. Groves has to be favourite in this competition and hopefully we will see him in with Degale again at some point .
  24. Well Eubank jnr has got his wish,Groves it is ! Groves has learned to tough it out and take his time like I mentioned earlier, and what a shot to finish it.Im convinced Groves will school Eubanks jnr before stopping him mid to late rounds.Another thing is how big Groves looked tonight, size could play a big part in the Eubank jnr fight, thats if Eubank jnr does not pull out for some unknown reason and the fight does not happen .Grove has learned the hard way and I think he is now a better fighter than he was before the Froch defeats, certainly made Hearns look like he was talking a load of bollock
  25. Satanism and Paedophilia seem to go hand in hand with Royals and Politicians all over the world ! Whats going on in there heads man, there animals .
