It just seems to me his work since has seemed a bit more laboured not quite so snappy Groves had a fault of throwing a lot of nervous punches which depleted his energy during a fight,now he he knows firing off loads of needless snappy shots is not needed unless hes under attack.Groves has been matched hard in his career and has been in some wars and had he had Booth in his corner for the first Froch fight I believe Groves would have won that night.Groves knows what its like to go in the trenches and tough it out where as Eubanks jnr has been matched very carefully and has had it all his own

I think Groves learned more from the Froch fights than they took anything away from him,but he did have his demons it seemed for a while after which is understandable for a young fighter.Where Groves did go wrong was bringing in that Paddy as his trainer and Froch himself said that as well.As for Cox ok hes unbeaten but that's only because he was given the decision over Obadai Sai who had boxed his head off the full fight,it was one of the worst decisions Ive seen in a British ring for a good few years.Groves should get the stoppage win over Cox and I think he will school Eubanks jnr comfortab

That Selby is heading for a fall,ignoring his corner,clowning and letting the other fighter hit him.A ko loss will sort his attitude out,be a shame cos he's a skilled fighter but you can't go on like that during a fight .

How Wilder gets away with it is unreal,he should be made to fight his mandatory before even thinking of a cash out fight with Joshua. It would be great if it was Vitali who dethroned Wilder the paper champion. I agree it is a long shot Vitali making a comeback but he is a very clever man and if he is serious about making a return he will no doubt have been back in the gym for a while on the quiet.Lets be honest the Heavyweight division is not exactly crammed with talent at the moment and the three Champs of the division Wilder,Joshua and Parker are all beatable.

I'd take Breazeale to beat Whyte,Whyte was gifted the win over Chisora.I think Breazeale is a better,younger fighter than Chisora with enough toughness to beat Whyte. On a more interesting note Vitali is apparently fancying a fight with Joshua and with him being emeritus WBC champion to fast track a Joshua fight he could fight Wilder first and then get the Joshua fight. If Vitali has anything left he would beat Wilder easy and would be still be a handful for Joshua,I think Vitali beats both,what a comeback that would be after being retired for 5 year.. Same old same old Kanny unfortunately,it's a well established pattern now,make all the right noises about fighting a "legit" fighter even going as far as signing up for the fight then using a so called "failed" drug test too get out of the fight then fighting a lesser opponent who is less of a risk. Povetkin is still waiting for his fight with Wilder coming up 3 years now. If there is one paper Champion in all of boxing it's Wilder .

It's been said before but Furys team done a great job with his career and then winning the World Heavyweight Championship to become undisputed Champion was a remarkable feat. However Fury if he does come back needs to add some new " faces " to his team such as a nutritionist,a conditioner and somebody to help him talk to the Press and how to talk to them (Thomas Hearns did this) also a change of scenery to keep him interested/occupied would be a big help to him. He should still have Peter as his trainer but mix it up like say going up to Wincobank and train with Dominic Ingle a few days a week

It's a terrible thing that's happened in Vegas and now all the anti gun lobby over there are screaming for a gun ban, what they need to remember is that after the Dunblane massacre over here all handguns were banned by Blair.All it did was remove handguns from legal law abiding citizens and leave them in the hands of criminals with the outcome being there is more handgun crime in Britain now than ever ( Handgun crime went up 40% in the two years after the Dunblane massacre). Something definetly fishy going on around Wilder,Ortiz is a VADA registered fighter and like I say Povetkin never failed a drug test the Meldonium levels found were lower than trace from when before Meldonium was banned so it was never a failed test,even though he was Wilders mandatory he still waited over a year to fight Wilder due to Wilder fighting voluntarys and has been proven innocent of any wrong doing so why has he not been re instated as mandatory again ? Wilder is an even more protected fighter than Canelo. Wilder has never fought a mandatory yet and he will have held the belt 3 year in January. How they got out of the Povetkin fight is unbelievable,Povetkin had supposedly failed a drug test but when the samples were tested again they were negative so they were sent to America were once again they tested negative. Somebody very high up is looking out for Wilder and they obviously didn't fancy the Povetkin fight never mind them losing the purse bid and he would also have had to face him in Russia. Fury has all the attributes to beat Joshua, he has the size,style,movement,ring craft,engine and is very good at setting the range in a fight.Joshua has the power to ko Fury no doubt about it,but would he be able to land the shot ? If you judge them both on there last opponent who just happens to be the same man,Fury beat Wlad with ease and never once was behind or ever in trouble, however Joshua was exposed and went life and death with Wlad before regrouping and stopping Wlad late. Both of Povetkins so called failed drug tests came back negative,they were sent to America and tested again and they were negative. It seems who ever looks after Wilder did not fancy his chances in Russia,Boxing politics at its finest again, lol.Povetkin has been proper done up like a kipper as long as hes been mandatory to wilder .

If Canelo watches a replay of the fight today he will know he clearly lost and should give GGG an immediate rematch,no more bs warm ups and putting it off so GGG gets even older.As for GGG if he does indeed get granted the rematch he needs the rematch to take place on equal terms as he had to accept a terrible deal to get the fight last night including Canelo being allowed a rematch but not GGG . GGG needs to demand that he gets the same deal as Canelo regarding fight fees and an equal share of the ppv gate and insist that Canelo is also drug tested as he opted out of this for the fight last

Thinking about it,with these multi million dollar fights and dubious decisions how come its not a Federal thing and investigated properly ? These judges with there dodgy scoring do not seem to answer to anyone when it clearly should be fully investigated to see who is behind it all,instead Boxing goes on as normal.Both Lara and Trout were also robbed of wins when they fought Canelo so its not the first time this thing has happened with this fighter. Hopefully all the paying ppv fans realise that they are being duped into thinking that Canelo is some sort of superstar when his dodgy matchmaking

I said all along no way would GGG be allowed to get a decision over Canelo as hes the biggest money maker in Boxing at the moment with a big powerful promotional company behind him.That scoring was bad for boxing infact its criminal.GGG now has a draw on his otherwise perfect record when he clearly beat Canelo comfortably in that fight. Its a disgrace in this day and age that fights like this can still get away with such crooked scoring.

Saunders looks in a lot better shape than he has done in the last couple of fights under Tibbs,Saunders is a good boxer who knows his way around the ring if anything he does lack a bit of power and can lack a bit focus and switch off in a fight. Saunders knows a win tonight could well earn him a shot at the winner of the Canelo/GGG fight and a chance to earn mega money so he will have prepared properly and will be focused tonight.
