Recently looked at some dovre gtx exstremes meindle. Got to say the hanwags looked a lot better made boot comparing them to the meindle regarding the stitching and the the lacing eyelets though the meindle were lighter and higher than the hanwag tatra i have.

Will have to watch that mate. Tbh I am alot more cautious these days on a daily mooch about in local woods due to a lot of bad publicity on social media recently and now tend to take a chance in private woods on the outskirts were there is no public paths.

Only once we're some one who i reckon at the time was from dragon carp a mail order fishing tackle outfit who ever had took my order by phone had then tried to buy a 150 pound pair of shoes using my card details lucky for me the bank blocked it and the Halifax got intouch more or less straight away. This was over 20 years ago though.

Fekin madness mate it's not as though it's a cheap habit and a few of them i have worked with they have more tapp than a blind man's walking stick even sadder is when their immediate family like partners and kid's start to suffer due to this expensive habit.

It seems to be an acceptable habit these days going on what I see in the company I work for in logistics with a few individuals who participate in this expensive habit and it seems from what I can gather companies don't seem to implement zero drug policies these days due to any one testing positive for drugs and their suspension affecting the running of the business.

Watched a clip of a well known coursing man's funeral procession pulling up and lads running hares and the police turning up and saying how they were outnumbered. I bet that will go down in memory for the funeral directors.

I used to wear that type of hat for years as I can never remember dog lads wearing baseball type caps and the first one I saw was on a coursing vid worn by Clive Amos when he was matching the Mellishes in the late 80s.

A lot of dog lads in the 70s and 80s used to wear these type of hats don't think they would be seen dead in one these days. Lol

The odd time i go out for a family meal its usually a pair of moleskin jeans and a checked shirt weekly shop just a pair of Levi or wrangler jeans and a decent top and trainer's. Rest of the time it's work clothes or mooching about clobber which i have more of than going out clothes and nearly always wear a cap of some description mainly baseball type caps.

The amount of posts on social media by different police forces look like the police are upping their anti in catching lads running a few hares ffs. Good luck to anyone still walking the walk with their lurchers this coming winter.
