    question

I dont know about scotland (i know they have slightly different laws) but as far as i understood, only someone holding a SGC can use a shotgun unless either at a registered Clay ground or when using the landowners gun on the landowners land and under their supervision, however i dont know whether the keeper could be classed as the landowner as he is an employee/agent of the owner? Any way be polite pass the time of day and the copper wont even start questioning who's gun it is and who can and cant use it, he would probably not even know the fine difference in the law and probably wouldn't
  3. Are they your own little bobbery pack or a proper pack of hounds? Interesting !

They state: 22(1) Pre 1st October 2007 22(1) It is an offence for a person under

    big one

Was a shame for poor Ricky......he gave it his all but was outclassed. Mayweather was powerful and accurate. Ricky lacked accuracy. He tried hard and kept fighting but he seemed to be outclassed , Ricky should stick to light welterweight, stepping up a weight seemed to be harder for him, he is a hard and aggresive fighter shame he couldn't pin the yank down
  10. most of the posts on here are, the drunken ones are the ones that make the most sense
  11. Me and Deker have discussed this in PM and I have sent an e-mail to a firearms licensing department asking these questions and hoping for a sensible answer in english Compo
  12. Deker i will send you a PM, i think Sprags knows what will be in the PM anyway
  13. Joe what my workmate told me, they wouldn't make a nuisance of themselves, their isn't any for a start and a lot of the Russia higher classes and politicians "hunt" and "course" so they would quickly dissappear Comrade Compo
  14. Steve read all my posts, i dont want to re-write them here, but the spectacle you saw was NOT a training exercise, It was not a way to get a dog started Compo
  15. I'm gettin' fecking paranoid now and starting to doubt meself.................... Snoops,............Comps................ FUCKOFF!! Sprags the worrying thing is that you have probably done that, laid naked on the sofa, dropped a can of dog meat in your lap and sat watching come dancing while the dog liked the meat

  17. i have been known to be rushing on occasions, but no, born and bred Yorkshireman, just been places and know people...........i work with people from all over the world and with knowledge and language abilities that mean if you wanted info on bear hunting in the USA with a bow or what hunting happens in craotia, serbia and kosovo, Trinidad,Barbados i know someone who either has done it or knows someone there that has
  18. Thats a valid point about the bagged fox...never seen the video myself and have never heard of it or even heard an anti-hunt Mp or anti organisation make reference to it either, however i am sure it exists. But again you are applying western morals and western opinions to this, i will re-iterate what my colleague the russian speaker/expert stressed, they have NO animal rights movement, they ALL wear fur, They dont care what their country men do to a wolf, there will be very few in russia that would even look twice at this video or even the spectacle itself , it is just part of what they do
  19. The above that i cut was from a current legal database and that is the current legislation regarding section 1 firearms and ammunition and as you can see the definition it gives seems to include the shotshells mentioned as not being section 1 ammo.....................therefore not requiring a FAC to purchase/possess
  20. This year we will be having a Pork joint (lots of crackling) and a Pheasant, these three are in the freezer waiting to be wrapped in bacon and roasted

  22. as you can see above i was right thats from section 1 of the firearms act, any cartridge with more than 5 shot of which none are greater than .36 are shotgun cart's....so the shotshell's you mention should be classed as shotgun cartridges!!
  23. You are about up to scratch with the firearm laws as I am with computer problems...... I cant lose this one....................... well Bill Gates Section 1(1) of the Firearms Act 1968 creates offences connected with being in possession of a firearm to which this section applies without a firearm certificate. It states: 1(1) Subject to any exemption under this Act, it is an offence for a person - (a) to have in his possession, or to purchase or acquire, a firearm to which this section applies without holding a firearm certificate in force at the time, or otherwise th
  24. There was an old 9mm garden gun for sale in my local shop about a year ago and he also sells the 9mm shot shell cartridges, wouldn't it be worth keeping 1 of these guns for such jobs?? i would have thought they would be classed as shotgun cart's as well, as the only shot shells that need a Fac according to the law book i am currently reading are ones that have less than 5 pellets or the pellets are bigger than .36 Compo
