i love birds, always have, had them around me since i was wearing rubber pants an terry towelin nappys, but holy fook them scientists have got far to much time on there hands, im all for the study of animals, but why couldnt they be doing someat worth while, rather than figuring out if birds have accents i do think they may be taking the mickey there tho, who exactly can call them liars i do hope if 1 of my kids become a scientist, itll be to help humanity, not study a thrush's accent

check out the rules of your local river, some are pricey an some are peanuts, some dont allow spinners, but if they do that will be easiest way to bag a few trout if theres any there, or try trotting worms or even maggots, try an get a tag along to try it first befre you buy all the gear, if you were closer id take you out, im sure somebody will, an if not get a cheap starter set an get out an try it mate, loads a rigs an things in easy to follow diagrams on google images or stick your questions up here, im sure folks wil answer you

i know of 3 maybe 4 eagle owls in wild an all less than 20 miles from my door, its nice to see them, but to have the local wardens try tell us they are harmless an have a place on the land is just stupid, nothing expects them to be there, im betting its only a matter of time til they are the new mink

we watched an eagle owl kill 3 crows within 45 mins in same spot last year mate, sn to say he done them easy is an understatement

sandymere, do you believe it does anything bad to a dog?? or pigeon?? do you think if a dog or pigeon is given this all its life an then the acv is then withheld it will cause any adverse affects?? like i said earlier in post i do use the stuff and a few other home concoctions i learnt as a kid if im honest... so if i was to stop using them, do you think id see a diffrence in me dogs??

i give it to my dogs, not all the time, not even on a regular basis if im honest, just when i remember to, iv always gave it to pigeons, truthfully dont even know why, its just 1 of the many husbandry tips i picked up off older relatives over the years. when i kept pigeons i used to give dogs a drink at same time an have always just carried on given it to the dogs. its got to be raw tho, like i said i dont know why i do it, but i do, but i do know you need the raw stuff for soem reason or another

dont have kids would be my best advice/tip to anybody i wouldnt change them for the world, but holy lord above do these little fookers take some dosh to keep them happy, i was always well off an thought why aare my mates moaning it cant be that expensive to feed a kid an look after 1, now i understand, now i have to be carefull just to be a nice dad so if you liek money folks, dont have kids
