i cant believe this bothers folk so much, i couldnt care if junkies an addicts got free rolls royce phantoms an free petrol to put in them, id much rather have what i have, an know i got it for meself.... let them dish out anything they want to the scum of this island, itll need to be something pretty damn special before ill start getting jealous of them, may have a 2013 brand new car, but hey there life will still be shit
-
who do you live with pal?? you can sign the dogs over to a 1 year old child an aslong as you take the child out walking teh dogs then nowt can be done... and if you aint got nobody else to walk the dogs with you, then i suggest you dont hang around next time you think you will be getting a pull... getting rid of the dogs is the last thing id do
-
just because you have got a ban dont mean you cant keep the dogs, you can sign them to your wife/girlfriend or even kids, an still get to keep the dogs, might be a bit of hassle having to have somebody walk dogs with you, but its only for a year, hope you get good homes for them or decide to keep them, banned from dogs, its enough to make you cry, this country is a flooking joke

get some bricks or similar on top of hutches/cages or runs, an then lay something on top, i use thin ply it adds more shade an the space between the ply an the roof of run is a nice little air gap which helps keep this a bit cooler, i also hose down roofs an things to help and add cold bottles into there run, it is a pain in arse but its a small sacrafice to pay for keeping my workers comfy

i scoffed at the recession, an then about 4 months ago it caught up with us. it aint nice, its even got to point im starting to think of pulling the plug on what i do and trying to find something completly diffrent to have a go at, but there again its hardly the time for a change when you so hard up first time in 10 years im even thinking about working away again
-
i personally think they would be good dogs for a job mate, but im sure they will need the right homes, they aint gonna be the type a dog you can take out twice a week, id say they would need worked everyday or youll end up with nutters if i knew a kelpie an a beagle an they worked, id breed em, iv just seen a similar breeding an even tho i had doubts it seems to workin well for him. atb if you do it an keep us posted
-
im sure all the single fella's will be along in a minute an maybe a few not single guys to give you all the tips you need

bunch a sour faced fookers it was an accident no more no less, im sure he wil be compensated. i know i found it quite funny
-
decent offer that pal, hope somebody that needs them gets them
-
that dog could be used to hunt men big powerfull dog, how old is he now??
-
i understand that, but they have done it, an a long time ago, an they result was some real good coursing dogsw, bred for a job, they have evolved now to be better at catching hares. so why go back to the start?? why start again when somebody has done all the hard work an time consuming job of taking the 1st crosses further and bettering the type, its madness, the plummer was made up f beagel, bull an russel blood if i remember right, dont see many folks trying to breed them from scratch again do you?? thats because as the generations progress, then so does the ability of the dogs like
-
why not just buy in a coursing dog?? iv seen around a handfull maybe two handfulls of 1st cross sal/greys in me days with dogs, an not 1 a them could even look at a decent bred coursing dog at there chosen job.... breeding the 1st x baffles me, all the very best with the litter tho

dawn aint so much an early start pete, more of a late finish i have always had a wierd sleep pattern, so im blessed with seeing the sunrise most mornings. ill deffo let you know how i get on, im deffo going to get involved, might end up just lending a hand but i really like the idea of using the mist nets an traps an catching some birds on me own, an then being able to let them go. itll be completly diffrent to what i do, most my usual catch goes to game dealers an dog food, so being able to return them to the wild will be somthing special to behold, well atleast to me it will thanks again
-
turns out there is a local bird ringing group and they operate in some pretty local places, thanks again pete
-
or two folks using same account for the record tho i dont know any of them, and dont want to, no offence meant so dont take it if yous are reading this
-
cheers for that pete, a well written out reply, iv run out of likes for today but ill be back to give you a well deserved 1. im away to look at your link an hopefully make some enquiries, i know where i am we get a lot of not so common birds an i also know there are a few little nature reserves which are run by a local bird club, so ill see if anybody that is involved there has a licence. i was shown mist nets in operation as a kid. i was a bit of a twitcher an egg collector whilst my mates were buzzing glue an drinking cider and was lucky enough to have a friend of family that travelled all
-
pete any chance of a bit of info on how you got licence to trap an ring birds, its something i have always been intrested in.
