I know a few urban and semi urban litters that knew they were being watched and folks walked within feet of there den umpteen times a day yet they were never moved. I've known vixens move litters as well tho

. Ok may be that came across wrong , the cross bred working terrier , lakeland type fell . Black fell red , grizzel etc are the result of years of crossbreeding and will throw. All colours. Iv had mutts that hate rain, walking on wet grass or just getting wet feet, but every one of them would have run through a brick wall to get to its game. Lurchers are funny enough things at best of times

What wood did you use to start them mate, I mean was it dried out or what was done to it before you shaped them and put hooks In, might give one a go

You ever tried one with a rattle in body lifelong Cambrian? I was given a few real similar, home made by a family member who had passed away, I had 4 among assorted tackle and 2 had a little rattle inside body, I caught more on them than others even tho they all caught. If lost them all now as it was years ago, always said is make some hut never got round to it. I will tho as shop bought big lures cost a bomb these days lol

I really like your collies pal, got a soft spot for em, bushing with a collie and terrier is summat I love doing, I even crossed a collie to a terrier to see what they come out like and tbh I'm more than happy with results. Not a spinner as such but try the Abu Garcia pot bellied tormentor, I've tried it in few different colours in different conditions and always had success, even when spinning for rainbows I tried one when getting pestered by wee uns and Bob's your aunties buddies name, bagged up on much bigger fish lol if I'm honest I prefer plugs to spinners but have had lots of catches on spinners as well so they do work lol

I'm sure your find a way of getting dimmer attached to lamp head, saying that tho watch classifieds there will be a few for sale when the crops get up higher and folk can't get out anymore lol so just stock up on 2nd hand uns lol
