    You will never find anything that used to belong to any of my dogs left lying around. To me, it's simple manners - you wouldn't let your kids 5hit on the pavement........ I have quite happily offered bags to people who "seem to have forgotten something", but in the 2 years I've lived here, I've never even seen, let alone spoke to, a dog warden.     I've been listening to Radio 2 for years and got to admit I have a soft spot for Radio 4 especially the afternoon plays Forget radio 1, it's......wait for it.........."just full of loud rubbish music" !     I don't think that that is entirely fair. This was a time when it was common place for the 'elite' to serve their country. And before you say from the safety of an officers quarters, I believe I am right in saying that the Etonian Alumni suffered more than their fair share of deaths and casualties in the first world war, reflecting society of the day. Human life was pretty cheap at that time. Actually you're right that wasn't fair, plenty of the upper classes died alongside the working classes in WW1. All different these days though, how many politicians sons died in Iraq/Afghan?

    Welcome to a member from true 'gun country' ! True story - a friend of mine went to Texas recently and wanted to try out a few 'proper' guns. He went to a gun shop and was given a 9mm pistol for a trial run. He'd never fired one before (banned over here), so he asked if he could have some tuition. Without missing a beat, the shop guy picks up the pistol and says "Bullets go in here, and come out here.". Looking forward to hearing some of your hunting experiences, mate !

    The latest "poll of polls" has Labour and Tory on 34%, UKIP on 14%, LibDem down to 9% and Greens on 5%. "Others", which I'm guessing includes SNP, are on 4% ! Read into that what you will.............
