  1. Some people like collecting stamps. Everyone has to have a hobby. Well, I'm pleased you've found something you're good at !
  2. Walking round your land examining animal stools ? Some here with too much free time, methinks !
  3. Job centre?? Don't you mean directorships, consultancy & after dinner speaking = £££££££ Fair point, mate ! I used the term figuratively, I suppose.........
  4. Thinking about it, I don't think any of the major leaders look particularly safe..... If Cameron fails to secure a majority for a second time, he will almost certainly face a leadership challenge. He has already stated that he wouldn't compete for a third term, so (if he does win next month) his second term will only be 3 years or so, to allow his successor a good run at the 2020 election. Will the electorate vote for a man who has no intention of seeing the job through? Millipede has the vultures circling, and there have already been several spates of rumours about his continued leade
  5. that actually sounds quite nice will be trying this tonight! My sister is a chiropodist and says it also works for hard or dry skin on your feet, but she swears by it on your hands. Make sure the oats are softened a bit first. Hope it works for you, Mo !
  6. Mix some oats into warm olive oil and soak your hands in the solution for 15 minutes at night (or when your hands are not likely to take any further abuse for the day). No jokes about getting your oats, please !

  8. Before I clicked the link, I read their names and thought "Let's take a guess what they look like ?"........... I was right ! F***ing savages ! Those sentences are nowhere near long enough.......
  9. Coming up 7 years for me. As has been said, the motivation has to be right. For me, it was an ambulance trip to the cardiac ward, when I was only 45, that focussed my attention. Whatever works for you, find a way, and do it while the choice is still in your own hands ! Sorry if I sound a bit 'preachy'...........

  14. Gary Numan ! Not doing well on the charisma front, so far.......... Wife's just said Gary Cooper (star of "High Noon", also from her home town of Dunstable)
  15. So am I, mate, and my mum says we'll be fine. I'm sometimes confused with a Gareth, but I believe that he's an inferior sub-species, now confined mainly to Wales.
  16. You're all absolute heartless rotters ! Think of all the famous and illustrious Garys and the sparkling charisma they've brought to the world - there's Gary Barlow,Gary Lineker........erm......
  17. So, I'm the only Gary on here ! Guess I'll just fade into quiet extinction, then..............bye everyone !
  18. Its true ! Only 28 boys were registered as 'Gary' or 'Garry' in 2013 !!
  19. There is a species, very familiar to most of us, that is facing a very uncertain future. Once a regular sight and sound of towns, cities and villages nationwide, they are now glimpsed only rarely, and are on the very edge of extinction. In the 1950's, there were tens of thousands, but by 2013, official statistics showed that there were just 28 recorded live births, and the continued existence of this once proud breed hangs in the balance - another victim of passing trends and fashions. So, if you care about Gary (or the less well-known Garry), please help us in our efforts to preserve
  20. Wiganese? Nottingham, mate.
  21. Not the Old English flavour, though !
  22. I didnt watch it to be honest, nothing surprises me these days. I`d have least put safety specks on him and got him to tilt his chin in the right direction. You`ve have to be retarded to try an pull a barely loose tooth with a car So, in a nutshell, when you were a kid, your Mam punched your teeth out..."Ah, good morning, could you put me through to Social Services, please?" You've obviously never met Bob. If you did, you'd want to punch his teeth out too. Steady mush, I`ll get me Ma on ya. She is a character, nicest woman going with very strong morals until you vex her, then get th
