  1. Nice parroting of tabloid smears Now how about a substantial critique of his policies? Policies a large proportion of the British public agree with http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/the-jeremy-corbyn-policies-that-most-people-actually-agree-with-10407148.html I don't read tabloids. I very rarely read ANY newspaper. So which part is untrue ?
  2. Some good news, this time ! Recent pressure from CA has obviously rattled his supporters..... http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/chris-packham-petition-reaches-8000-6409133
  3. Burnham, Cooper and Kendall all said Corbyn would be "unelectable". A bit ironic, coming from three people who couldn't beat him in an election ! After his victory, Corbyn called for unity, and his followers demanded loyalty to the leader. A leader who has shown very little of either to previous holders of the position ! The whole pantomime is laughable. Does even his most ardent supporter believe that the British people will elect, as Prime Minister, an IRA supporter who describes Hamas and Hezbollah as his " friends", who cannot see any circumstances were he would deploy troops, who
  4. "The overthrow of capitalism" ? What's his other hobby ? Talking bollox ? When asked what he would do, if he could travelback in time, he said "Assassinate Margaret Thatcher". Now, as much as I despise that wretched woman, comments like that are just childish and play into the hands of his opponents.
  5. A good few of us contacted our MP's - sorry to say that the replies were less than encouraging, mate.
  6. Shadow Foreign Development minister. She'll have to visit all manner of run-down 5hitholes, full to the brim with dirty foreigners, living in overcrowded slums.......... Still, she represents Hackney and Stoke Newington, so she's used to it !
  7. A party run by Jeremy Corbyn and Tom Watson. Tom and Jerry are literally in charge....!
  8. When he dies, how long do you think Bill Oddie will carry on twitching ?
  9. 4,000 troops put on standby, as 37,000 people arrived in Germany in the first week of this month. But Mrs. Merkel is seeing opposition growing....... A senior ally is speaking out, from within the Chancellor's own parliamentary group. Hans-Peter Friedrich, the former interior minister, believes she is making an "unprecedented political error". He said on Friday (quote) "The decision to let refugees in from Hungary, uncontrolled and without registration, will have devastating long-term consequences. Germany has increased the 'pull factor' to Europe. No other country is so naive and starry-
  10. Sounds like a question for Flipper Al....
  11. Whatever happened to gooseberries ? When I was a kid, we used to eat wild ones all day long. Now, I can't remember the last time I saw a gooseberry bush !
  12. Has anyone else realised that this means we'll be seeing a lot more of a certain Diane Abbot ?
  13. I agree. This is not going to end well. Maybe not in my lifetime, as I'm getting on a bit, but I can't see a happy ever after.........
  14. I think it's that Britain has always had noisy political minorities. This type of event rallies much smaller groups together - anti-austerity, anti-nuclear, so-called "anarchists" etc etc - under a 'left wing' umbrella, making support for the overall cause seem larger than it actually is. Supporters of one cause will support another, in pursuit of the overall socialist agenda. Add in a few liberal band wagon jumpers, a couple of Student Union banners, a loudmouth with dyed hair and a megaphone, and you've got yourselves a demo ! The left wing are much better organised than the right
  15. Wife makes jam with blackberries, elderberries and plum. I'll stick to the wine-making.....
  16. You're just pissed that he fecked up the accumulator you posted on the other thread Just you watch - Assad and Farage will romp home now..........
  17. And he's got no idea of the total 5hitstorm that the Tories will unleash on him.....
  18. He is a supporter of the IRA and encouraged Iraqi civilians to fight against coalition forces. His first priority, as Labour leader, was to attend a rally in support of the Muslim invasion of Europe - that tells me everything I need to know. The man is a traitor to his country, and no decent person could ever vote for a party, while it is run by someone like him.
  19. You're all being sarcastic, right ?
  20. Fingers crossed for you, Sir ! Calls to review murder sentence of Sergeant Alexander Blackman - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34217252
