    Could try taking them to a cobbler/ shoe repair shop. They'll have the right kind of glue for the job, then give them a coating of something like this

    Have a look online for some leatherwork glue, it might not do much if it's coming away across the flex point, but worth a try for expensive boots

    Nice boots the Borneos, had a couple of pair in the past, got a quality leather lining instead of the gore tex, used to wear them for running on the beach aswell as hill walking, comfortable straight out of the box
