  1. Ah yes indeed Penned by no less than Michael Shaw
  2. Anglers Arms Weldon Bridge Beef, lamb, and pork roast to take away
  3. There's a time and a place for tagliatelle, but this just takes the biscuit, and I'm not talking custard creams You know?
  4. Used to get these from Wing Hong on Stowell street, but they have closed down, Morrisons sell them, there are many like them, but these are the pork flavour
  5. That's it, if you look at the pedigrees of the modern day dogs a lot go back to that litter which produced Foxy and Nipper etc one way or another
  6. I think Fettle was sired by Sam or Reefer, but it's a long time ago now Nipper lined Jodie and Dancer and produced some pups up north one of which was Blondie
  7. I hear Mac passed a while back now, bur I think he still had a runner about him
  8. And Fred from Whittlesea, old Mac must have had some real days out on the big black way back when
  9. I like that action packed running style, my old bitch and her litter mates were like little tanks as pups, it's rugged land in places up here in Northumberland, good to have some bone density wish I had taken a litter from her when I had the chance, 12 year old on Sunday still in the slop
  10. I think it could be to do with variable climate causing issues, like the other year when the oil seed rape come into flower months before it was supposed to, I've noticed different plantings on the land from a few decades ago, even see Linseed and a field of corn on the cob up here in Northumberland over last few years
  11. I don't know, but he must have a few contacts
  12. This track was wrote for Black neck, indeed it is the soundtrack to his life
  13. I'm looking to plant guelder rose, dogwood, wayfaring tree, spindle, the odd field maple etc, broken up alongside a few short lengths of hawthorn for edging the rides. And replacing some of the felled spruce with oak, might do a bit of a mix with some Hazel, and got a few ash saplings to bring up. There's quite a bit of regeneration of spruce, larch, rowan and the Birch is prolific like clumps of grass. This place could probably be a full time job if I was to plant coppicing and do charcoal making etc, got other things like a mixed fruit orchard in mind, but again it's all time and graft
