Books are epic, I've read them 3 times to date, plus "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" & "The World of Ice and Fire" Love the TV show and all, going to watch episode 3 shortly.

Not really going to do much against any bird, chilli peppers evolved to be eaten by birds alone as a way of spreading their seeds, the heat is to stop mammals eating them and chewing the seeds. Birds are unaffected by capsaicin..
