  3. give them this, they go nuts for it.
  4. like i posted on another thread: theres one negative side to all this recent talk of donating.. it could start making members that dont donate feel awkward. hopefully not. but making the for sale section for sellers to be donators only is fair enough as theres alot of sales been done. richie
  5. i might aswell add my two bobs worth... the owners of the site could atleast start with only allowing donators to access the for sale section. maybe not the buyers but definately the sellers.. its not as if there asking for much money, its a fiver !
  6. to be honest deker, i dont agree with that. you can get units for around the £600 mark that will be more than enough for air rifle distances & just right for rimfire. richie
  7. i started the poll as i was curious what people prefered.. you dont need to spend £1000`s to get a decent unit that will do the job, all depends what your sticking it on.
  8. youre about as usefull as a chocolate saucepan ! youre about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike !

  13. stubbs his hob is an excellent worker, kills under & doesnt lay up & works the sets well, but its a lunatic !. i went to pick him up & he jumped 1ft in the air & just managed to get hold of my finger for a split second & with force he came at me with, he wernt messing. in my opinion i think he needs a companion to try & calm him down. ANDY, wearing gloves wouldnt make a difference with this one, he bit through them.. i know what your saying, my large hob likes to bite but not when im wearing gloves.
  14. not that i agree with much about the airgun bbs forum, but some of these selling rules make sense. one thing that really f*cks me off is when myself or someone selling an item has someone posting a negative comment about an item they have no interest in buying.. 1. Before posting in the sales sections: It is requested that, if using a picture to show the condition of an item but the picture posted is not actually of that item but a representation of a similar model, that the seller indicates this in his post. This is to ensure that the image supplied is an accurate representation of
  15. i was wondering if he made a small slice first ?
  16. youre going to have to get out & look for it, it wont come that easy, people aernt just going to hand it to you on a plate.. like i advise people that ask, do a search on yell.com for local farms in your area. call them, ask if they have a problem with vermin and that you can offer help by ferreting, etc. tell them your insured, which you should be, youll respect there land, livestock & bounderies, then take it from there... whats the worst they can say, no.. & when you do finally get your permission, respect it & treat it like gold... personally i cant see anyone

  19. we went out this morning to do a few hedge rows ive been wanting to do for a while. the first hedge was about 100yrds with a few sets evenly spread. we threw a longnet around & pursed up a few that were easily accessable & placed 3 ferrets in. within the hour we managed to get 3, 2 in the purse net & 1 in the long net. one had the after effects of mixi so probably explained why we never pulled no more from there as mixi was rife there 4 months back. the three... we moved onto another set that we were sure held a few as the holes looked used.. put the ferret
