  1. personally mate id tell him to stick it ! i use to have a boxer, and yes he was powerfull but as i said earlier if a dog got out it would of pushed its was out. how much did he pay for it ?
  2. well if a dog did get out that way it wouldnt of been able to pull the cage inwards. when an animal forces its out it would push not pull inwards, and the dog would of been cut to pieces or at least have scrape cuts or marks on it. and jim to be honest i cant believe youre giving it a second thought. whats the story ? the dog in the picture is the one you sold this clown and the cage with it ? richie and have a close look at the bars to see if there is any bite marks or paint scraped off...
  3. hi devvo.. hope you find him soon. my favourite hob got out a little while ago and i was panicking like a gooden. then i set a cage trap with some of his bedding inside, then the next morning he was there. richie
  4. i suspose these traps would only work well with a rabbit proof fence sealing the area off so the bunnies would have no choice to use the entrance? and i take it these are set in an already used run ? could these be set in a run with no fencing section ? richie
  5. thanks madcowz.... are these from a picture library or did you set these ones your self ? richie
  6. hi dan... i recently bought my ferrets a 10ft x 8ft x 8ft shed and covered the floor with vynil lino which is easy to clean, just a simple sweep up then i wash the floor down. in every corner i have a litter tray which all 6 of my ferrets use, you might get the occassional mess on the floor but other than that i find this works well. i had them litter trained within days and i use catsan litter thats expensive to buy but needs changing much more less than that cheap crap which works out cheaper cause i use less. out of interest you say you covered the floor in gloss ? id just point out one thi
  7. cheers for that. i dont suspose any members would be able to post some pictures of the correct way they should be set if possible. or is there any web sites that have the methods displayed. richie
  8. i would love to admit to taking these pictures but i would be telling porkies if i said they were mine. just thought their ideal to copy & paste & frame, thats what ive done.

  10. big fish.. ive got a couple of straps sitting here so if you want me to send you a couple just give me the word & ill stick a few in the post. richie
  11. have you sorted the problem out yet ? richie
  12. it was slipping right off over the head. one of the main problems were the collars were too thick. richie
  13. has any other members had a problem with the mk3 collars ? i found that every time i used mine they had a habit of coming off the ferrets due to the collars been too thick and stiff. i made a call to deben and explained what the problem was and got told by the woman on the phone that i was the first person to complain.. i find this hard to believe. i was told to tighten them up more ! yeah i could do this if i wanted my ferrets to turn blue and have their eyes popping out their head. what i done was ordered the original mk1 leather collars and stripped a small amount of plastic from the collar
  14. ive been doing pest control for many years now only as a hobby by using different methods from air rifles, shotties to ferreting. sometimes i come into situations where i see the use of snaring would be probably the best method but have never got round to using them. to be honest i would like to be shown the correct way before i even attemp to use snares. would any other members be willing to take me out with them on my land or theres to show me ? in return i would offer a couple of pigeoning day. thanks in advance. richie
