    My pal just sold a kudu to an interior designer for £200 just to get rid of it ,they had moved house and there wasn't a wall in the house big enough for it .

    Fishing the canal & boating lake in Victoria park east London was my start , then further afield to Ongar ,that's when I watched a pheasant shoot which for a boy out of eastend was a real eye opener .Never got my 1st gun till I was 23,Zabala 12g ,meet a guy who had lurchers & terriers,shot & stalked . I was hooked. Have fished ,shot stalked ever since,stalking is my big thing along with the dog .The guy I met 35 years ago was the most generous man both in time & sporting opportunity who is still a great friend today ...

    Yes..... if you own the land its fair to charge...... if you are employed to work on the land(farmer,gamekeeper, etc ) that does not give you the right to charge because your employed to do what your employer wants. if the employee dos'nt want to take you that's not ok because they are employed to do a job ... It all depends on who has the stalking / shooting right on the land .Which unfortunately boils down to in many cases, who has the deepest pockets. This said there are times when even the landowner /farmer has to look further than the quick buck (excuse the pun) and look to the long

    Nice morning ! ....ps ...I don't think your making a mistake leaving the really good bucks , its because of people like you there are good bucks about. This see good buck , shoot good buck policy is not my idea of deer management. To take the odd trophy buck is fine but leave some to pass on the quality you see in them .     Get a proper heating firm Stig , There is shed loads of regs that apply to fires ......In the past I took out the fire back ,put the metal one in & back filled with light weight thermiculite then parged up on top.....to form a throat that takes the smoke & gases up the chimney.....Get it checked by a QUALIFIED person mate they are dangerous if not fitted right

    Are the quite,my mate brought me a pair of "hunting " trousers back from the states and they make enough noise for three people !!....great for beating in, tough as old boots but noisy as fcuk...they have a plastic type coating on them that rubs as you walk and brush against anything , they would hear you in France.No wonder my mate (steve its you) never gets a shot at any thing close.......

    Next time I get the arse over something really important like deliveries that are not on time,things are not where I left them , my wife's left the fuel gauge on E ,etc etc I will think of that boy .........puts our problems in the little box !!.......Hope he wins the big game ..
