Pete their is a proper solvent for removing label adhesive , I bought some a while back .I will delve into the inner workings of the workshop tomorrow & try to find it ..I put it somewhere safe in case I needed it again , so it will take some finding .

So even though it was frozen solid I took the chance to get out for a couple of hours .I new the deer wouldn't be in the fields but thought I might catch up with one in the valley were there is plenty of shelter .Leaving home at 6.45 I was getting the kit out of the motor by 7 am , loaded up on the quad I got round to the valley , glassing up just in case there were any in the fields , there wasn't .Leaving the quad I set of along the top ridge ,glassing every few yards I spotted several small groups , non of which I could get a clear shot at as they was to much scrub in the way , deciding to

Was loading yesterday ....wet or what !...Although every one put on a brave face it was hard work , I don't think anybody was sorry when we finished the last drive . On a brighter note every thing was frozen this morning but I got out on the does & managed to knock a couple down .As I finished putting them in the chiller its started raining again ..

Left the window of the truck open & every thing got soaked this morning , pissed of big time , what a problem ......till I see this .....how lucky are we !..a plastic bag on the seat sorted my problem if only his were that easy . A good lesson to start 2014 ..

Have you ever used a shooting bipod stick Ian? Never missed a thing in my life :whistling:.....well just the odd rabbit , & very occasional Charlie & the very occasional huge fallow buck that if I had a stick I could have poked it in the eye , apart from that ...miss , never .....unless its flying of course ...but only then very rarely ....actually I rarely HIT anything if its of the ground & moving ....Keep your head down on the stock & have a practice to build the confidence , think every one has a rough patch ..

It shows the mark of them picking on a lone woman , gutless wa.kers , they would run a mile if fronted by someone up for a row . Glad your wife is ok & its probably better you don't catch them because the old bill wont turn a blind eye if you give him/them a slap .Even though they wont do fcuk all to find them .Sad state of affairs .Enjoy whats left of the holiday ..
