Stocking levels will be less , they need a proper fence !! nothing worse than seeing your money jump the fence & trott off to be shot by your neighbours , they are a lot more expensive to buy in than lamb etc etc ..The fact that their are only a few deer farms tells me their aint much money to be made in it ..!!

+1 mate , at £200+ they are crap ...the first pair lasted 2 stalking seasons then dried out & split , I never looked after them at all & booked it was my fault , the second pair were treated like fcuking royalty , washed cleaned , dried & treated to every boot care product known to man .....dried out & split exactly the same as first pair ..bought a pair of Danners from the states that did 7 hard seasons ...good comfortable boots ..know in harkila's ...1st pair lasted ..........1week ! leaking .2nd pair seem ok but theirs a long way to go ..

Had a look round the new permission this afternoon , pleasantly surprised, lots of slot & sign , see 5 or 6 does in some fairly tight cover , nothing I would have taken as I finish does in Feb but good to see .Its slightly bigger than I thought at 320 acres , a few seats in the summer & its about their ......

Yep guilty ...bet he is shit ing himself at the thought of 20 + stretch in a S A jail ...don't think their quite as comfortable as our ones ! the only colour TV's in the cell don't have feck all to do with television ...

On a place were we have the stalking the land next to us changed hands , not that we knew it had till the guy doing the keepering (part time) came round & asked us to do the deer for them as well , not a huge piece about 200acres but tagged on to the bit we already do its a handy to have ..Mainly fallow with the odd roe it needs a bit of work & a few seats but should be worth the effort this summer .

As much as I would like their time on earth to be ended hanging from a rope I think this would suit their twisted demented minds , the thought of never coming out or doing 45 years must be their worst outcome ..hopefully they will get some stick on a regular basis & the rest of the time they can get on with the mind numbing boredom of a min 45year stretch ...sick cnuts

See one virtually every evening I sit up on one of my permissions in east sussex , when I commented to the owner how often I see them he was amazed , he had never seen them in the eight years he's owned the place (he's not a farmer) ,after 1 evening in the seat he was made up after seeing the pair glide by at about 30ft .I think last year was the best year I can remember for seeing barn owls , got to be a fairly common sight .
