Got a couple , aluminium folding ones , good kit not cheap but had them four or five years & had no problems with them although I do use a support under the rifle rest just to take the flex out of them ...will try & sort out a pic ..
We used to watch a white pricket in with the ponies , why he liked it we couldn't work out given the ponies where in there because there was very little grass & the adjoining field was lush by comparison ...
No Phil I was on £1.20 lb ...£1.50 is wish full thinking ...don't know what the rate is yet ...Danw thinks it might be up this year & I'm hoping he's right ....
My brother has one in Spain that he imported from the Canary's .Bought it fully trained as a guard dog , it wont take food of anyone ,wont leave the property even if the gates where left open is as daft as a brush with kids & I wouldn't want to break in & tangle with for a million quid ...This dog is treated as a work tool ,its very well looked after but its never taken for granted .If one of these turned on you , you would be in serious trouble ...That said they have had no trouble with break in since his arrival ...
Bud its worth what someone will pay .One came up near here recently about 21/2 acres , The asking price was about 100k , every one thought it was top money until two people really wanted it ....it went through the roof .The guy that bought it owned the plot next door & was fed up with the fishermen parking across his entrance , noise etc ..all he needed was to chuck a pile of money at the problem .As I said its worth what someone will pay ..Good luck with your one ..
Hope your right Dan , my man agrees a price at the start of the season & its that all the way through .Collects every week & no fuss ...£1.50 lb has a nice ring to it
Nutter ....the woman would not or could not ever aspire to the league of nutter's ...she is obviously in the single brain cell league ...if she had two she could be bloody dangerous ...
I could have gone down the homeloading route Phil but with no real interest in it I chose the other road ....I got my pal to do the loading for me . He is really into it , he already loads 6.5 for a couple of other stalkers , has a few different loads for different jobs & is proper into the science of it . With me its a case of getting a round that does what I want it to do ..he enjoys loading , I enjoy firing ...every ones a winner ..if you want ammo or advise i'll put you in touch , he's local as well ..
Hi Phil , you wont be disappointed with the 6.5 x55 , I've been using one for the last year & it does the job spot on , accurate , hard hitting with minimal damage .CC is spot on about the ammo , home loads are the way forward ...
