    fair enough, I had both side by side on the range and i couldn't tell much difference but I think I am a abit mutton. how do you know that the longer barrel makes it more air efficient?

    Welcome mate up in aberdeen in a few weeks. There is no difference in noise mate just length of barrel and cylinder.

    My 97 likes the superdomes, but your right they come in two sizes 1.77 and .22 If I go in any shop and get bullshitted Ill walk out don't matter what it is, think it happens more in specialist shops though.

    check out moxys post. how good are the t20s or t38s? I use nv for shooting but think one of these be handy when out with the dog

    A hare coursing hares...... What a sight!! And I'm sure plod couldn't even make up a law for that!!! just wondered if it came to call etc, and came back when it had the chance to do one. would be funny if the cops gripped you with a dog and a hare then you whistled them both back lol.

    All range finders should work in the dark the problem is seeing what your pointing it at.

    Insurance should be fine, you don't charge him, the farmer provides them for you.

    does he take it out and run it? if you had an animal from young enough and brought it on with dogs would it know it wasn't a dog?

    Get bait from the supermarket if your struggling finding a tackle shop. Sprat herring and mackeral might struggle for roach though lol.

    I get the same as, 5 mags in .177 from a k before I notice. Never used 5 mags hunting and I normally get bored plinking with it before 5 mags anyway.

    you should be able to get a pretty decent set up for that kind of money, now is probably the best time to buy with the fine weathermen giving up and Christmas coming up. Its the small stuff that costs adds up, hooklinks, hooks swivels leads etc.

    I slid in the horse shite on one of my permissions instictivly grabbed the nearest thing to hand which unfortunatly happened to be electric fence. Just glad I shoot on my own.
