Fawlty Towers still has me laughing as does Dads Army. The old comedians.....Mick Miller, Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson, Les Dawson still,have me pissing myself laughing. I still don't get how the modern comedians suddenly replaced them overnight. PC again.

I was watching Till Death us do Part excerpts on Youtube. Time hasn't reduced the funniness. I found myself chuckling at much of the dialogue. I was curiously reminded of you though, and my dad, an old school docker. I'm not being rude by the way. Alf is probably more relevant today than when the series was first recorded. Except a series like that would never see the light of day. Non PC!

Another dog shit story. A friend of mine spotted a sneaky fecker allowing his dog to shit in front of his house. He shot out and demanded the owner pick up the shit. Which he did with bare hands.

Ask any Scot. Any Scot. Whether he / she likes the English! It's part of the culture to reply in the negative. But I'm not sure that is racist. English people aren't refused jobs or housing because of their ethnicity. The English aren't refused service in a pub or a shop. Its interesting too that there were no riots in Scotland when the rest of the UK was kicking off. Scots are more relaxed about immigration and asylum seekers. Were the pet shops still there on Tibb Street in your time? In the fifties a big treat for our gang on a Saturday morning was to walk from Salford into Manchester City centre. First we would pay a visit to the abbatoir and watch the killers at work. The workers would try and freak us out and frighten us with body parts. I used to always beg horns from sheep or cattle. One day a fella said to me" hold on son, I'll get you one," stunned a cow snapped a bloody horn off and said " there you go lad". Very impressive.lol Next stop was Shrewdhill market. All sorts of traders there.

Roughly half the number I usually get. I've planted my garden with insect attracting plants and have two big wildlife ponds. No peacock butterflies, half the red admirals and maybe an eighth of the tortoishells. Very few wasps but plenty of bees including honey bees. I've had hardly any daddy longlegs this year. Wet summer, insectides or natural cycles? Dunno. I've got some outbuildings. I used to get a minimum of 6 swallow nests. This year ...none. Never heard a cuckoo this year. I'd like to see Danny win but I can't see it. I think he's got a puncher's chance, and he can punch, but Joshua is a cannier boxer. Dubois has shipped a lot of big shots in his last two fights I agree. But he can't keep doing that, that's not sustainable as a style I don't think Dubois would even be a boxer if he wasn't his dad's pet project. He doesn't seem to have any edge to him. He's too nice! I like to think I can hold my own in lots of different situations. But the same isn't true for those who've been protected from the world. I'd like to see certain people survive in the 'real' world. If you're a graduate of the university of hard knocks, it can be a big advantage. Plus you know the real value of things.
