  1. There used to be a show and sale at Trimdon. Is that still on the go. I've bought some good birds there in the past.
  2. There's talk about selling Mainoo. He's not fulfilling his promise this season. So yeah. Could be a lot of coming and going.
  3. I think Hojlund gets little or no service. He looks the part, lightning fast and composed on the ball. Nobody knows if he's any good at this level because he never sees the ball. He works hard but is continually starved of passes and crosses. Amorim needs to sort that out. Not much point in buying Gykores be cause his goal return will be no better without service
  4. I think Garnacho has talent but poor attitude. The previous manager had problems with him and so has Amorim. He's very immature. A fan criticised him on his way into the stadium and when he scored he refused to celebrate because some nobody had annoyed him. Go figure. He may be for sale and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go. But he may mature into a proper player. Either way kept or sold he's been a good buy ( around a million ?) I think. If we sell he's worth 35 million plus? Diallo has been sensational. Played a few games for us and sent on loan to Rangers where he rarely
  5. My grandson is costing me a fortune. I give him a tenner for every correct Man U score prediction. Bang on again. We were humiliated for mins but Diallo pulled us out of the shit again. Both him and Garnacho were bought as a policy of gambling on promising youngsters. Paid off with those two.
  6. One of my brothers was a Councillor. In order to execute a search warrant the police had to have the signature of a Councillor. ( Scottish Law) Some of the requests were daft.. a stolen bike or some equally low life crime. He occasionally refused to sign on the grounds that " an Englishmen's home is his castle" even if the suspects were Scottish and therefore barely human. Having lit the fuse. I am now going to retire and continue watching Man U v Southampton. Man U down 1_0 to a team who are bottom of the league with 5 points. It doesn't get any more painful than this.
  7. Yup. "It's all about control".
  8. A friend of mine keeps british birds: bullies, goldies, linnets etc. He got a morning call from the cops alleging that some of his stock consisted of trapped wild birds. They questioned why some birds were panicked and flying against the wire of their cages. He patiently explained that the birds were only used to him being in his shed, not two policemen shining torches. Some of his birds were not ringed, which is legal. The sale of unringed birds is illegal. Fortunately he had photos of the birds in the nest. But he was really stressed and worried by the raid. Talk about police priorities!
  9. Our local track has gone and several others. Part of the fun of non registered greyhound racing was that you could flit from track to track and nobody knew if your dog was a) trying that night or b) any good. Maybe I'm paranoid but there seems to be a concerted effort to attack traditional working men's hobbies. Pigeon racing is in the animal rights lobby's sights now because birds are lost. The number of countries permitting greyhound racing is diminishing all the time. Bleeding big brother! Wales is deciding this year on whether to ban and thus close the one registered greyhound trac
  10. I thinkmits arrogance, mixed with stupidity. I was looking forward to that fight. I think Mcgill would have been too good for him. McCann for me is decent domestic fighter period. He talks the talk but they all do.
  11. I like a dog to return when it loses sight and not follow scent. It's rarely going to catch anything following scent after the first ten yards. And its absolutely essential to return when a lamp is switched off. We all know a lamping dog that hunts up scent is useless. I also like a dog to return if it is outpaced which can happen if you're running a knockabout lurcher. Shock horror! I know a lot of lurchermen will call a dog a quitter in those circumstances. But for me it's common sense. Would it be preferable if it exhausted itself and then dropped dead? Or coursed for miles across s
  12. Funny how dogs' ability to find their way back to their owner varies a lot. I've had lurchers which could find me in the thickest of woods after they'd been hunting. And others which have no ability to locate and have to be whistled up. Some have uncanny ability and others totally crap. The dog below is my son's dog. Collie/grew. Canny all round bitch. No top speed but game and very competent .
  13. If he was any type of man. He would come clean and name names.
  14. Itauma looks very promising. He has a confidence and swagger about him. I think he knows he's got a special talent. There's talk of a Fabio Wardley fight. I'd be surprised if that goes ahead now, Itauma is still a baby in pro boxing terms. There's there's some great opponents for him out there. It's just a case of not overmatching him at this stage.
  15. You're going to have to rub that lamp hard and summon up a special genie to get out of the self dug hole you've created for yourself on this thread mC. Lol
  16. Yes foxes calling here too. Spooky sound when it catches you unawares. I've got a large and a smaller wildlife pond and can guarantee the spawning date will be 48 hours either side of March 15th. All nearby ponds are sooner than that. But I think my ponds are in the shade so cooler in temperature. The males throw caution to the wind and flit between the two ponds desperately hoping to find a female. Some are clever and just squat between the two ponds hoping to intercept a just arriving female. I always look forward to it. The noise of calling at night is tremendous.
  17. You'll soon be after them leverets mC. Five yards law.
  18. Guess I'm desperate. Spring is coming earlier and earlier. When you have lived as long as I have you will understand whippersnapper.
  19. Very little here. Crocus and Snowdrop and a few daffodil shoots. Saw wood pigeons displaying yesterday. I live near a rookery and they are one of the first nesters. But they haven't shown up yet. Not seen any lambs or frog spawn I guess you lads in the South are getting the harvest in lol.
  20. I would prepare yourself for when Fury calls it a day for real. You might get PTSD or FBD. Everybody has heard of PTSD, Flashbacks , haunting memories, vivid dreams. But FBD ( fan boy disease) is a f****n nightmare. Erotic dreams of your hero, playing back videos of his highlights, hanging around outside his home hoping for a sighting. However, there is hope mate. You need to switch the focus of your homo eroticism to a fella called Usyk. This may be difficult given he humiliated Fury and every brit he has faced but its your only hope mC.
  21. Here's another sign of old age Wilf. I messaged you last night to tell you Dagenham v Millwall was on ITV4. This morning I had had no word from you so checked my messenger and I hadn't pressed 'send'. You didn't miss much.
  22. She knew what she was signing up for. "Better or worse". I paid 7 pounds and six pence for a f****n licence. She ain't backing out now.
  23. I could keep her going for 12 hours: making me tea, delivering her a moral lecture about decency and self respect, encouraging her to become a social justice warrior, telling her wonderful I am, how I started with nothing and now look at me, how handsome I used to be, how tough, how fearless I was in the face of capitalist oppression , how I got my scars źźzzzzzzzz. Apparently its all part of the job for prostitutes, listening to punters moralising , and basically listening to sad men bigging themselves up. I think I would be the f****n master at it. Cure her of her nasty habit at first atte
  24. I have to buy moisturiser for dry skin. Ffs lol I realised this morning I was making weird, old geezer, gasping noises whilst having a crap. You'd think I was fighting a hard 15 rounds with Joe Frazier.
