Used to be that fans involved in aggro would nick each others scarves as trophies. I remember walking to a Stoke City v Leeds Utd match back in the early 70s. I saw a big Leeds lad in his early 20s take a scarf from a Stoke kid of about 14. PRICK! It was a case of instant justice , a copper witnessed the incident and booted the bloke to the ground. He then gave him a couple of heavy punches, pulled him up by his collar, returned the scarf to the kid and frogmarched the bloke to a black Maria. Three cheers for police brutality. Everybody has a quitting point both in life and in fights. I would die for certain things like my family. But if I was in a fight and continuing was hopless or too painful or too dangerous for my future health. I would say 'yep I've had enough' .If people said I was a quitter or a coward they can say or think what they want. Everybody has their level and their quitting point. I reckon anti vaxxers who get Covid and then pass it on to others should face legal consequences. Its not just negligent its socially irresponsible and downright dangerous.

A mixture I guess, the safety regulators are totally independent. They are not going to give the go ahead on a vaccine which is dodgy, otherwise their arses are on the line big time.

I'm listening to the scientists and the safety regulators. Yes there may be long term risks, we don't know about but at 71 reckon my risk of dying from the virus is far greater than a possible risk years down the line.
