    Are there any documented accounts of lurchers living wild? Lots of lurchers get lost when working and they are certainly capable of fending for themselves. Any stories evidence?

    Think that opportunity has gone. China is too powerful. The yanks got a hiding from the Viet Cong and the Taliban. They only had will power and AK 47s. The chinks are increasing their financial and military power all the time. Don't think the yanks have got the balls to mess China.

    Sounds plausible. Maybe it will depend on how bullish the states will prove if theres a war between Ukraine and Russia. Would they stick at arming the ukes and economic sanctions or would they put boots etc on the ground. Scary stuff.

    Ain't that the truth. Meanwhile the multinationals exploit employees, rip the piss out of the tax system whilst providing discrete back handers to largely corrupt politicians. The same politicians award mates insane PPE contracts during the biggest health emergency for a century, are found to have broken the law and f**k all happens to them.

    What's the long term prediction for this virus? When it first appeared I read it would burn itself out in 7 years. No such luck. Had a place where farmer used to beg me to deal with rabbits. I killed over a thousand a season most years. Counted 4 today. Is there anywhere in the country where rabbits have got resistance?

    Funny how guys end up with similar interests. Lots of members interested in: lurchers, terriers, fishing, shooting, cage birds, poultry, boxing, football metal detecting, snooker, darts falconry. With me, ever since I was a kid, it's been anything that moves.....starting off with beatles, butterflies and worms as a toddler and moving on to fishing ferreting etc etc. Wonder if it's in the blood or what?

    Mate o mine is very knowledgeable. Discovered many Roman coins, including some valuable rare ones. Has a super sophisticated machine. I would love to to take it up but Iv e got so many different ties I haven't the time. One coin he discovered was awarded after 25 years service in the Roman army. It entitled the bearer to a plot of land and a pension in Rome. Often wonder how it came to be lost. Did he ever get his pension and land or did he miss out because he misplaced the coin?

    Dont disagree with that, young vets work like hell both academically and physically. Medicine and dentistry demand the same entry qualifications as veterinary surgery, but the pay and conditions are much better.....regular hours and they don't get bitten, kicked and shat on. A young vet told me recently that she had worked twelve hours for less than the minimum wage. The problem is that the profits of the business go to the main partner and all the shitty work goes to the youngsters. It's the same old story the big boys get the profits and the workers get washers.

    How Bliar and his sidekick Alistair Campbell can appear on chat shows etc pretending that they are regular, decent human beings is beyond me. They've got some bottle. A lot of Islamic attacks on the West is down to them.
