  1. Have you got the eBay listing number?
  2. You're doing the same as me but from the opposite viewpoint.
  3. In reply to Shepp. I disagree! The you're picking the worst examples you can, I simply don't believe all are like that. In fact, I know they're not. You mention tax... The NHS doctors earning upwards of 100k will be contributing a huge amount of tax. I must mention another example... One of my best friends is an English guy of Indian descent, his parents came to the UK in the seventies with nothing... His father worked in a factory and in a twenty four hour corner shop, often working eighteen hour days. His mother also worked in the shop. Eventually they saved enough to buy the shop, then
  4. There are some immoral people in all races and all countries.
  5. 'Instill some morality into them'.... You're kidding right? Are you suggesting that all asylum seekers and migrants are immoral?
  6. Max, you and I have very different views on asylum, but please accept my condolences for your uncle. I have also seen poor NHS treatment of family members at first hand due to the NHS being overstretched. I don't however feel that more or less asylum seekers would have an impact. The NHS being underfunded is a Government problem on a much larger scale. Also, without migrant doctors and nurses, most NHS authorities could not run.
  7. There's no fear from me... It's very easy to tar all asylum seekers and migrants with the same negative brush, but in my view the reality is by different. These people are human beings after all, do they not deserve some level of humanity shown towards them? It's very interesting to see the approach of other nations, the Germans in particular. Who would have expected the Germans to show such compassion given what has gone on in the past century. Older generations of Brits would not have believed it. Perhaps it's also worth making a point that Germany has the most successful economy
  8. I'm a little saddened by reading this thread as I'm in the middle of watching the 6pm news. Very distressing scenes in Hungary and two toddlers washed up drowned on a beach in Turkey.
  9. I know what you're saying fella but that's one small fault in everything that we ask of a working dog. You ain't gonna get the perfect dog. The next one might smash cover but not retrieve. The one after might retrieve but cries in the kennel. The next one might be quiet but got bad feet. I could carry on. If you're gonna get rid of every dog what isn't 100% perfect then you're gonna get through some dogs. But you're call mate. All the best. Best post I've read on here for a long time...

  16. Are any of you folk a member of the IFF? I've joined it but seem unable to read anything. I'm presuming I need to pay a subscription of some sort first?
  17. Mine has snapped in half! If anyone knows where I might be able to get one I would be grateful for the information.
  18. Sorry mate, I wouldn't take thirty pounds for them at the moment.
  19. I've put some Darcy books for sale in the 'miscellaneous' section of the classifieds. Please message me if you're interested. Thanks in advance.

  21. Now that's what I call terrier work 3 £15 Now that's what I call terrier work 4 £15 Now that's what I call terrier work 5 £15 A passion for coursing £30 Of dogs and deer (presentation box edition) NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS WORTH... OFFERS? Modern ferreting (Plummer) £5 The Darcy books are brand new, unread. Modern ferreting is a little rough, hence the price. These prices are plus postage, which would just be a quid or two per book. I'm looking for a Bellman and Flint and a Mark 3 ferret locator so could do a deal. I'm also open to other books as swops. Thank you.
  22. There was a thread on spaniel crosses a while back. It's worth a read... Very few spaniel crosses are bred purposely, good luck with your search.
