  1. Bushwear sell them for about £11 mate
  2. Anyone in west of Scotland got lurchers and if up going lamping. My ground, just for a bit of crack and sport
  3. I have seen bull x do really well. In fact take all quarry but in reality there not going to run and kill on a daily basis. For teeth they are fantastic given the correct breeding
  4. Would like to see how long his deer x will last on 3 sets of good teeth, hope he takes a shovel, he may just need it,he can put his dog and his ego in the same hole my 1st ever lurcher was a dh x that was doing fox single handed 3 to 4 nights a week but the hole point of this was he said bulls have nothing to offer I don't totally dismiss what a deer x can do gafer I have one myself, but I am not under any illusions whatsoever she will match a good bull or bring anymore to the table that a good all round bull won't, but one thing I do know for sure is, the bull can bring something to the t
  5. To say there no good bull X out there is just utter shite. I don't own bull x simply for the fact that there not need in what I do. But for the right owner then fair enough. However I run a deerhound x greyhound and a saluki collie greyhound and both do the job needed. However every tom dick and Harry are showing up with bull x now and simply showing off. I do agree with Ted on saying there overrated and also that the deerhound x greyhound could quite possibly be the best all round lurcher. My dogs doubled up can do the job of a bull x as every lurcher will go through some stick I don't think
  6. I used to run a deerhound x greyhound and I would smash 3/4 foxes a night given there out n about. The dog run up along side them and picked them up like rabbits. He stood at 27" and wasn't heavily built. But his mind set and his determination was unbelievable he wouldn't stop until it was puddined
  7. I would say fox mate. Pig usually have bedding outside the sett
  8. Really pal can't go wrong. I mean I would match mine with any dog out there, any quarry and land..
  9. I have a saluki x greyhound with a little collie threw in there. Best dog I have ever owned and seen working. Has took every game on British soil. Can't go wrong. Easy enough to get. With the right breeding and work schedule that cross will keep you happy. Atb conran
  10. As it gets a few rabbits under its belt it'll relies it doesn't need to give 100% for a rabbit.
  11. Miendl boots mate. Gore-tex lining and very comfortable. Do the job. Or grubs wellies
  12. I used a red one and found that 200+ yards you can't see the run. And was no use. Instead of using a filter avoid putting the beam straight on your quarry. Put it as it's feet so you can just see it and as you slip the dog eluminate the full animal. Atb conran.
  13. Tracer 170 or 210 depending on the trip. With 12amp battery does the job nicely and is very lightweight
  14. I work a deerhound x greyhound with a saluki collie greyhound. Both work fantastic together (and single)
  15. Aye kelpies are fantastic dogs. Very intelligent and my old dog could fluff like nothing else. However didn't have the speak for a lot of quarry
  16. sadly no longer got him. My inexperience got the better of me and I ran him on a full stomach.
  17. Smallest dog I've seen take them in a 20" beddy x whippet. Took a fair share. Was able to take them all day long...preban
