  1. Best dog I ever seen on roe was a dog I owned back in the day, he stood at 26tts and was heavily built (not sing what weight) he was a saluki collie greyhound and knew his job very well. He was a very pacey dog but his success as a deer dog came from his techniques, he would run up along side roe and through himself into the rib area and had them on the round regularly. A lot of people go on about "how fast their dogs are" but in reality it's all about a dog using it's brain, techniques and strategies. Pictures can be seen. Atb Conran

  6. See a bedlington/whippet pull a roe buck (6 pointer) in a river. Amazed at the size difference
  7. What do you prefer the kill or the chase. I prefer the run myself but I know a lot that like the kill.
  8. I seen a jet black roe doe. On a bit of rough ground. So I don't run it for that reason.... And it's illegal

  11. I don't think it's broke because its eating yawning and play fighting with the other dogs. So am not sure about it tbh
  12. Had my saluki collie greyhound out last night on the golf course and first slip hit a bunker. The dog lit out a huge yelp as I ran over to it it just walked towards me as nothing happened. After a closer look his bottom jaw won't sit normally its slightly sitting to one side. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could've been

  15. Then again I've seen them in a field and slipped the dog and they've not ran and the dog hit them...... Hard
  16. Well they're leaving rabbits blown apart and deer lying in the field, which is inviting foxes ! A huge pest
