  1. my mates wifes dog got rushed into the vets at the weekend,it was really ill,it had constipation and was vomiting,it turned out that the dogs stomach was peferated and acid had gone into its belly, the dog sadly died a day after the operation,it turned out that the dog had a ball of grass stuck in its stomach which was the cause of it,has anyone had this happen to them

  4. its not just the stud dog that should be 100%,the stud dogs parents and grandparents should have been 100%,you cant just breed out of a dog that is 100%,but the breeding is rubbish, chances are he will throw rubbish
  5. cracking day out,it looks a bit wet to be this time of year. hows your dogs bred
  6. they are rabbit dogs imo,and thats the end of it. yes you do get the ODD one which takes fox, hares need to be run from under your feet to be caught. ive seen a few run and are explosive of the mark, but seem to tire very quickly, they are awesome at daytime rabbit catching.personally i wouldnt have one,but different people like different dogs, try and have a look out with a few different people and different dogs, see what catches your eye
  7. nobody can answer your question,it depends on the attitude of the dog in question,i will sat this tho,my bitch has taken many of them.just give her a whirl, she is the only one that will give the true answer
  8. lads....weather hancock bred dogs are good or bad is not the point, theres good and bad in all breeds,i got one that is retired at my parents,a half cross he was good on all quarry, but i wouldnt get one of him again for this reason.... hancock is a puppy farmer, his dogs are left in kennels all their lives, they are not walked or trained to any type of standard, the sooner people stop getting pups of him the sooner the breed will get better, pups should be bred out true workers and not any old rubbish...i will not incourage puppy farming
  9. depends what you call stupid, mine are far from stupid, and are the cleverest dog bhind quarry by far i reckon
  10. salukis are bred to run on hot hard rock,so a hot grass field shouldnt really bother them, the fact of the matter is simply that we should all be letting our game have a rest and time to breed.i personally wouldnt risk running one of my saluki x's on the hard ground anyway
