i finally worked out how to put pics up,i put up 2 which were o.k,but when i go on image shack now and try to host another picture it wont let me ,anybody know why
  3. dont know max,i dont weigh them.i can just tell when shes right,i know before i take her out if shes going to run tidy or not
  4. yeah just started him,for a beginner and being a big dog he is doing well,im pleased
  5. yeah he is really long, the photo doesnt really do him any justice, but atleast ive worked out how to finally put pics up.
  6. he is bred out of the bitch in the other pic which is out of captain,i put her to tommy murrys smokey,i would imagine some coursing lads would have heard of these dogs
  7. yes she is a very fast bitch, she is out ov moyses captain x 5/8 greyhound,2/8 saluki,1/8 deerhound
  8. one of my young dogs aged 12 months i dont know how to put them all on the same page
  9. why would you want to cook food for a dog, they have survived all this tme by eating raw food for a reason. even road kill, wild dogs bury and hide food for ages, and they dont get bad when they eat the rotting meat. and as for complete food being complete is another thing, manufacturers only have to put in the limited amount of nutrients that keeps a dog alive,so personally i think you get what you pay for where that is concerned,or use a good greyhound food like red mills .even complete foods are a cooked product so really speaking they are no good in a dogs long term health
  10. exactly right, ive just read a book called give your dog a bone, and it says you shouldnt give your dogs anything cooked as it kills the enzymes, which the body has to then produce this causes liver and kidney damage and increases ageing,it allso says that dogs need the bad bacteria, wolves dont eat cooked food and they do just fine, the assumption a lot of people make is that domestic dogs have changed from its wild ancestors, they have not genetically changed at all.this book i would advice any dog man to buy this book and read it.
  11. i only asked if anyone has ever used one for cuts on terriers, not for childish people to slag each other of,calling people names over a computer is really childish, and why do people dismiss and run something down that they have never used and havnt a clue how works.
  12. trev-obviously the makers are idiots, allso the greyhound trainers world over,or perhaps you dont know how they work and what they do to the blood flow, perhaps you are the idiot, talking about a subject you obviosly know nothing about. research shows that the second stage of healing is accelerated by 120%,with magnopulse therapy(this is quoted from a magnopulse users manual)
  13. i would say start with a collie x. good dogs to start with i think
  14. just wondering if you lads with hard digging dogs ever tried using a portomag box to heal deep wounds a lot quicker, they allso make the scare tissue more elasticy,so the old scares dont open back up so easily, obviously the sooner the dogs heald the sooner it would be back to ground.greyhound and lurcher owners swear by them.

    4 X 4

if you go lamping in a little gag you want a disco or something like that,my mate had a fourtrack and he couldnt even get his 3 lurchers in there to take them for walks
  16. how the f**k am i suppoost to get through that, wheres that terrier whenyou need him.
  17. its been a strange season for me,i have had more foxes by far than any other,at the start of the year they seeed to be in evey other field, got fair share of venison too, then i started takng my young dogs out,the weather seemed to go really cold,i dont think i lamped at all one month, the pups came on really well at the end,the dog pup getting 8 on his third time out,the bitch getting 8 then 8 again on her third and fourth time out,so all in all not bad coming to think of it.
  18. i would never get any other cross, the right one in the right hands can be awesome.i use mine on all quarry, they are not as dull as everyone makes out,its just some people give up if the dog doesnt do something straight away for them, you must be gental with them, and keep your
