    I have been asked to do a bit of pest control in the next week or two. As I have a young as yet untried tyke, and am a beginner myself I'm wondering if anyone would care to join me and show us how it's done. Permission isn't easy to come by so no bell ends please, and a calm, stock broken, experienced terrier with a discreet owner would be a bonus. Kent

    My old patt bitch has had this a couple of times, nesting, restless and lactating. She even carried a toy round as a surrogate puppy for a while! We just stuck to her normal routine and it passed after a few weeks. Hopes this helps

    Wondered if you lads had anything other than long walks to keep your your dogs in tip top condition physically and mentally during the warmer months?

    Round here a lot of potential nesting sites have been converted to dwellings, it's sad to see the old farm yards and barns modernised and filled with London bell ends! Not a lot of wild countryside till you get to the marsh or Rother levels

    I haven't seen one for a year or two. I'm always amazed at how silently they fly, esp when you are sitting quietly fishing in the evening, and they scare the crap out of you by flying overhead! Sad to see such a beautiful birds numbers decline so quickly

    Due to the challenging weather this winter, wondered how you gents have got on? With all this water and undergrowth hanging about, location of old Charlie must have been affected.

    I paid £6.20 for a box of 26.5gm number 7s, and bought a box of 28gm number 6s somewhere different for £7.20, but you can't get 16 bore carts everywhere

    Just picked up a little sxs 16 bore with fixed half and full chokes, and I wondered if you gents thought it would make a suitable woodcock and rough gun? It's nice light and point able. Any thoughts?
