    I suppose heavier loads and open chokes compensate for poor shooting. I would have thought a smaller lighter gun would be easier to use in rough/woodland shooting

    A mate is going away on holiday, and as my gun is being repaired, he has offered to lend me one of his. We are both licence holders, but as it will be longer than 72 hours, is it ok as long as I let the firearms officer know, or will he have to sign it over to me? Thanks

    You're right mate, why on earth would anyone be interested in the characteristics of a staff! Since baiting and fighting are no longer legal they serve no purpose at all, and should be eliminated as a breed!!
