  7. looks like you had a great day there Peter, have quite a bit permission on such land myself .collies do really well on this ruff moorland for the rabbits, terriers do a lot of flushing out of reads and ruff,ATB Keith j.
  8. Good to here he's fitting in well Bud,seems like he's having a lot of fun as fun pups should have.Young Grace is the same none stop into everything, had a dozen or so bunnies out local on the lamp with the other dogs, and she doesn't hold back wanting to be in there, not had her out with ferrets yet though. Jen has a hell of a lot of stamina she's always last in van and holds her own with collie's on some of the more testing rat hunts, hopefully she's past this on to her pups.looking forward to updates, try and get a hunt in with you over the winter,ATB Keith j.
  9. HELLO WM, hows young wilf getting on.Grace my little bitch is coming along great she loves being out with other dogs, she's into everything.Young red when't to Hastings to a nice fella who's gonna do a bit graft with him.Hows the pups getting on.couple pics of Grace.
  10. A good start would be to have a well handled well socialised ferret around dogs, ferrets need to gain the trust of your dogs so they are at ease around them.I always have at least two such ferrets as i do a fare bit ferreting with the collie's ,but i also expect my terriers to be rock steady too.i find letting your pup see the ferrets through the cage first to see how the pup reacts, and if the pup is over boisterous couple firm words too keep it in check, when pup settles down i allow pup and ferret to share a bowl of milk. i repeat this process daily for couple of weeks.all my dogs see my ferr
