  1. tam i have no intrest in kc registerd dogs as i believe it is the beginning to the damnation of all working breeds,cant stand the show seen either,yes i own a plummer with an undocked tail as i bought my bitch from scotland were upon it is illegal to dock full stop.so dont make judgement on me,ive worked terriers for over 30 years some docked others undocked i was using border terriers as an example only,if you had read my post properly you would have found i have nothing against tail docking only that i prefer my own dogs undocked,every one is entitled to an opinion without having to be slate
  2. never heard so much shite in all my years of hunting [34 to be presise ]people bitching on and slagging off over the docking of a dogs tail.i personally have no problems with the docking of dogs tails as ive worked terriers ,lurchers and collies,also worked with friends spaniels.all dogs in the hunting field have a purpose lurchers need long tails for balance'yes the docking of spaniels tails prevents injury but all working dogs that are worked regularly sustain injurys.as was mentioned in an earlier post a spaniel with a blooded tail through working black thorn with an undocked tail thats a
  3. some more good posts wc and tim,there are still a lot of plummer owners out there who value the working ability and health of there dogs[myself one].i agree totally the plummer terrier should be worked as an all rounder providing the owner has places to hunt there dogs,i myself used to work my dogs to fox but since the ban i havent the priveledge to do so,but i dont for one minute think any less of my plummer bitch because she works rats and rabbits given the chance i;m sure she would work other stuff.i expect a lot from my dogs,good nose for one as my dogs have to smell out rats in some of th

  6. here good and bad with all breeds rob,but my personal experience i find plummers very hard working intelligent little terriers.havent done any earth work with mine [but no people who have with good results]mostly use mine to hunt rat and flush rabbits,wich i do on a regular basis and thoroughly enjoy it mate.have no doubt that the little bitch of mine would work other stuff but i,m happy with what i do bud.do get out much with hounds nd terrier.

  10. hello to you all,i'm keith j.bin hunting now for over 30 years,hunted most legal game.can anyone remember the glorious swill fed piggery's,i spent years hunting such places in pursuit of the brown rat,and had many a good hunt.i got my first terrier when i was 10 year old nd never looked back,first time on site so just a few words for now.
