    Couple more of mine,Jen up on scarefell in the lakes these little dogs have heaps of stamina they've done these peaks quite a few times with me now .Bunty with rat my first Plummer [no longer with us ],Jen and Grace taken weekend out mooching for rabbits.Ty my brother inlaws dog half brother to jen.

    Hello bud,Wilf is looking grand,double of his sister ''Grace'',she has killed 21 adult rats now and a lot of halfy's her nose is something else she loves digging on for her rats and like ''Wilf'' she loves the cover,keep the pics coming atb keith,j.

    The antis are trying to divide us ? i think people on here are doing a good job of it there selves,the bickering and bitching going on because people choose to work different types of terrier,it's a f..king joke mate.I have enjoyed watching most terrier breeds work over 35 years and have respect for any dogs that do the jobs asked of them.But when folk come on these forums to say they've had a good day bushing, ratting or work a Plummers or borders they get shot down by these jumped up key board worriers who in all honesty probably have done f.ck all with there dogs anyways.i know there is so

    It is a good offer FD for us Plummer owners so i'm putting a coach on from Newcastle ,any Plummer owners within a fifty mile radious welcome,It's an all inclusive trip we get to rat ,dig and maybe enjoy a sandwich and coffee,if we dig we get bragging rights and a t shirt with ego printed on it.Isn't it funny how folk come out of the wood work when some one puts a offer on a thread like this giving it the large and having a pop.Not every ones a glory hunter. speaking for myself it would in normal circumstances be good to go out and have a good day digging ,ratting,bushing,but to come on here a

    I agree with some you say above,but not all.It is great to kill rats in number and it is a test of stamina,it is also a test of toughness to a degree ,as ive seen a few dogs jib when killing in number,.but most times when i hunt with my dogs they have to graft for there quarry ,marking finding rats in some of the filthyest shit holes known to man as that;s were we find most of our rats burrowed in piles of shite in old tractor engine's ect.i also like my dogs to dig on and work for there rats ,keeps them sharp.and i agree there's nothing better than watching your terrier grafting in cover,i do

    Well put WM,personally i've never met the man but love him or hate him makes no difference to me,but on a positive before access to internet ect in the late 70s early eighty's as a young boy starting out books were a valuable asset to try and gain a bit knowledge on working terriers and lurchers ect. think the first book i read was JRT training and entering[complete jrt ].It stopped me making a lot of mistakes i would of other wise made,i know you don't learn the trade by reading books but these books instilled a life long passion for working terriers,lurchers ect and give me a little push i
