  1. it has a silencer on but i thought it would be a lot quieter with a bull barell on it but if it means loss in power and all the messing around i will just leave it as it is just give it all a good service The BBK isn't a particularly quiet rifle. I've added a SAK to mine and its a huge improvement. As stated....best stick with your original narrel and add a decent mod.
  2. Out of curiosity...whats the shot count on this? Cheers.
  3. You can retro fit a bull barrel but probably too much messin about. I would think the reg would have to be set up differently as the barrel inside the shroud will probably be shorter than the barrel you have on there. You should join the BSA forum and contact a guy called RancidTom...he's the S10 guru on there ;+)
  4. Sounds as though its just clipping the mod at the end. Did you have a look for any signs? Maybe worth trying a different mod.
  5. It may clipping 1 of the dividers inside. Open it up if you can and have a look at where the pellet dust is building up.
  6. The pellet will be clipping the mod on the way out. I had the same problem with a Hogan. If you have a look into the end of the mod you should see a faint line where the pellet will be clipping. I rolled up some fine sand paper, inserted it into the front end of the mod and rotated it until i'd taken a slither off. I only took about 1mm off bit it worked spot on. Worth a try ;+)
  7. They enter the bigger rivers like the Tay, Tweed, Dee and Spey all year round though the more productive months are generally from late July when the Grilse (1 sea winter fish) arrive and through Sept and Oct when the back end fish come in. There are only a few decent Spring rivers nowadays like the Helmsdale , N Esk and especially the Dee in Aberdeenshire. If you go onto a website called Fishpal where you can look at all the noted salmon fisheries and see their catches ;-)
  8. Great work as usual. What breeding is in the dogs mate They seem to have bags of stamina
  9. to be fair airgunguy i dont agree with that at all! they agreed terms and shock on it. wats happend to sticking to your word? stabba carnt be blaimed for someone else being a lieing scum of the earth prick jmo atb fm I'm not disagreeing with Stabba...just making the point that if he's given the dog to someone he doesn't know then he has no rights over the dog whatsoever...agreement in place or not. The likelihood is, the guy has probably sold the dog and made a profit from it and that's why Stabba didn't get 1st refusal back on the dog. The unfortunate thing in it all is that the do
  10. What happened too the Gentleman agreement........!! Word dont stand for fcuk all theses days !! A man anit got his word. He's got f**k all I agree mate...a gentlemans agreement is a gentlemans agreement and with peolple you know and trust then it would probably stand but when you're gifting a dog to someone that you don't know and making demands with it...the guy would've got out the gate and thought "fcuk you...its my dog now and i'll do what i want with it"!
  11. Not havin a dig at you mate but at the end of the day...as soon as the bloke exits your gate with the dog that you gave him then the dog is his and he can do what he likes with it unfortunately so any sort of agreement would be out the window. Maybe next time you give a dog away you should give it to someone you know and trust. 1 of the down sides i've noticed aboit the Lurcher game...far too many dogs get passed around!!!
  12. Woodies....lovely! Ferals....ferret food! ;+)
  13. Don't know if you fellas shoot Woodcock at night or not but the fields are full of them. Every time i'm out lamping i see loads gettting up well within range. Sent the dog down the beam on a few thinkin it was a rabbit. The dog's reaction is hilarious when they fly away
  14. Is the red filter (not infrared) for the Striker available separate? Thanks.
  15. what happens if you go out and theres small fields and big fields with big things in the small fields and small things in big fields do you use your both hands Made a head strap with Striker on right and Lazerlite on the left...like wing mirrors so whatever comes up i can flick on either with ma tongue activated pressure switch...hands free lampin
  16. I've a Lazerlite and a Striker variable and while the Lazerlite is a great wee lamp for smaller fields or out approx 200 yards, the 170 is a big difference. The range on the beam is amazing and is probably all you'll ever need. For me its the Lazerlite on the samller fields and smaller stuff...Striker on bigger fields and bigger stuff ;-)
  17. Did he not say at the time that he was researching a book? Fantastic band...i love their stuff ;-)
