    I've a SAK on my BBK and its almost silent other than the action...blends very well into the bargain. Well worth a look ;+)

    Mine run under the water when i'm hosing out their hutch...shake themselves then run under it again. Late last summer they were jumping in and out of a small paddling pool the kids had. The kids put an inch of water in the bottom of it and they were chasing each other in and out so they definitely like water. Great fun to watch ;-)

    Forgot to add...have you tried it with the magnet on the end of the box and the wee separate maget that comes with them?

    I dont think there's much to the mk3m collars. Probably something to do with the magnet inside the collar or the box if it wont turn off. Try callin Deben 1st to get an idea of problem and cost to repair if repairable. I called them recently as my collars are about a foot out though workin perfectly otherwise. Had a few digs recently and they were spot on but it is going to them for recalibration.

    Had a few things from them...good prices and service ;+) I may sound like a miser but i always shop around for the best price and its usually ebay. Rip off Britain has had its way far too long and places like ebay etc are great for us consumers. If the shops dont wanna match their prices then too bad for them...i'll go elsewhere. They had it too good for too long imo!

    If you're going down the pump route...i personally would try and get something with a decent shot count. The Ultra is a great wee rifle but the shot count is lowish at around 30 whereas a AA S410 is approx 70 shots per fill or there's the BSA Superten at around 120 shots per fill. You could pick up either for 400-450 2nd hand. Are you sure about a pump? You could pick up a 2nd hand bottle for around the same price.

    I think i paid 55 quid for the N.S. and 70 quid for the Hawke. I think the Hawke maybe around 100 quid now though.

    As much as people slag it off....ebay for me mostly though certain items have to come from the local RFD.

    You could try an independent mortgage advisor instead of the banks which are givin out f all at the moment. They can usually wangle the funds from somewhere. It maybe completely different now since i last bought any property but worth a shout.

    I think its all down to the new gun laws which stops people adjusting the rifle to higher than the legal limit. The rifle is factory set and i think the anti-tamper models have a cap over where the pre-anti-tamper screws used to be.

    It was early last year that i had it. I bought it because i already had a N.S. Goldcrown which was/is excellent. I think i only paid around 55 quid new for the Mountmaster an thought i couldn't go wrong. I bought the Hawke and compared them both and there was no comparison between the 2 so the Mountmaster went and i now have 2 Hawkes on the PCP's. I reckon i just had a bad 1 as the glass was very slightly clouded and it made the Hawke look crystal.

    I had 1 and sold it after 1 outing. Didn't like it at all. The glass wasn't as clear as i thought it should be. Bought a Hawke Sport HD 4-12x50 AO IR and for the money they're excellent. Think i paid around 70 quid new. I personally don't see any need to pay hundreds for an air rifle scope as most people, like me will rarely be shooting at live quarry beyond 40 yards.

    Go into ebay and type in Ultrafire 501b. They're perfect for airgunning. I use a red and green led 300 lumen 501b for scanning the fields and a bright white 1000 lumen that mounts on the scope for shooting. You can get them from China for under a tenner.
