    Just remember...in the eyes of the law he can't own a gun. He can use someone elses and when under their supervision ;+) I'd advise havin a read at all the new laws mate...just to keep on the right side of the law. Things have changed a lot in recent years :+)

    Im up for that mate .the rifle needs run in though its had 20 pellets through it since it left tony Im going down to nascarg on Sunday. Dont think i'll manage there Sun but a day next week would be good. May have a Rapid to play with ;-) Did he give you any clue as to which pellets it likes? My 97k likes AA Fields and Accupels.

    What size were the small white balls? Could be early stages of pregnancy. Tapeworm eggs are very small...about 1mm. The eyes is myxi and Socks...i thought it was more likes southern estonian dialect :-D

    For 1...you made a very bold statement then edited a lot of it out so you should expect and respect the opinions of others and 2...if you've got the rifle up for sale...you went the wrong way about...try the for sale section!!!

    Try scotchbrite with a wee bit of oil and next time...wipe it down with an oily rag before puttin in the slip :-D

    Something around 9ft with a casting weight of 15g to 40g would be fine. Would hold a decent fish no problem. Might be a wee bit overkill on brownies though. I definitely wouldnt go too light. Would much rather have the backbone for a decent fish. You dont want to be hookin a 20lber on a twig ;-) As for reels...shimano baitrunners are as good as they come ;+)

    If the Weihrauch hadn't been tuned then i'd probably opt for the TX200HC but the fact that its had a stage 2 by a reknowned tuner then its the Weihrauch all day long for me :-) I see you're just down the road. I would be interesting to see how the 97k...if you buy it that is...compares to my v-mach 97k :-)

    The Weihrauch family of springers are without a doubt the best springers ever made. Their build quality, performance, looks and how much they can be tuned/modified etc set them apart from the rest!!! I think you just have to look at the guys that shoot with spring rifles...most will have Weihrauchs!!!

    Good point. Armed tresspass and can carry a jail sentence. If you're on permission make sure its ok with whoever you have the agreement with. If you're poachin...stretch its neck!!!

    Its all about opinions mate. What shoulders, shoots and feels well for 1 man may be totally different for another!!! I've a mint 97k with v-mach kit fitted. I've compared it to a TX, Prosport, new 97k and various other creations and it out petformed them no problems. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's the best rifle about because it isn't but it's perfect for me! If you were to stand the 10 best spring rifles in the country up against a wall and ask me to pick...i'd pick mine every time! That's just my opinion ;+)

    No problem. Max legal limit for a pistol in the UK is 6FPE and it only takes approx 4FPE or maybe even less at point blank !
