  1. Colour means nothing under the sod as there's no light down there, so there is nothing to reflect light to make colour. Atb.
  2. I sold mine for £150 some lads asking more in the region £200-£250 and more, depends how greedy you are and how foolish the buyer is.
  3. I mind it well Francie. You's Derry lads cut each other to ribbons over it lol.
  4. hard one to call mixed grill. My mate had a fox bitch he swore by a few seasons back and she was running a bank one day and had a mark and came away on about her business. A young dog we bred was bouncing on his back legs looking in, never had been dug before. So we let him go, we broke in on him glued to a good sized dog fox. The rest is history. A lot of factors could be the reason why your dog done that. I've seen terriers pass game without even entering, running the bank and through cover as a fox has been past that spot just before we came down to the bank. Some terriers when they're on s
  5. I agree with you on most of that Neil apart from the cautious entering part, believe it or not a lot of black dogs I've seen work and work well, you've seen some of them over the years, entered like a cat slowly creeping in then after a few minutes when contact was made that's when they came alive. I suppose that's the oppsosite of a terrier bombing in at 100mph and missing game.
  6. I agree with Kev, the vet is trying 3 different ways to fix the problem. I'd say after the wks course of antibiotics is finished if the dog doesn't seem to be getting anyway better, within a day after, I'd be going back in looking answers. Keep us posted. Atb
  7. Thanks, that's why I'm putting it out there CV, I'm hoping others have knowledge on the same issue and looking to know how they got on afterwards.
  8. Sorry to hear that Columbo, more than likely a goodun too.
  9. and if you've dug more than me in your whole life then tell us about itSorry Pabs your the man.
  10. What Pabs is trying to say is.... I don't even know what he's trying to say! Try the dog in the right environment? Maybe the temperature wasn't right that day LOL. Send him your number Pabs. The dog that's jacked, if this guys for real has dug more than you've dug all season. You's might get on well together. ?
  11. Put a pic of the dog up. Don't say you can't do it even my grandads computer savvy and he's in claytown a long time.
  12. Hasn't been dug from last week RH last time he done it was in the summer so he wouldn't have been doing any work at all. I thought it was a bad reaction to milbemax as I'd gave him a tablet 15mins prior the first time but this time he was definately fitting and he'd been penned up all day plenty of clean water and I came home from a shift and walked and cleaned them out put him back in and when feeding that's when I noticed he was doing it again. Very worrying.
  13. As above I've a 6 year old dog that took a fit about 6 months ago but I'd just wormed them all a quarter of an hour beforehand and blamed it on an adverse effect from using a different wormer I hadn't used before, this wasn't the case as I found out this evening. Dogs walked and cleaned out I was bringing the grub out to them and this particular dog is at the end of the kennels, when I got to him he wasn't bouncing at the wire as usual, instead he was taking a seizure under his box. I brought him into the house onto the mat and held him on his side until it passed to stop him doing any damage
  14. Just got my copy looks well put together. Thanks Lusitano
  15. Cheers for the comments lads. The pups wanted for nothing from day dot, makes it a hell of a lot easier when you get them and they've been well looked after.
  16. Quick update pups will be 16 weeks this Sunday
  17. Don't know what part he's referring to but there's plenty about where I'm from also and in the areas we have our permissions. Haven't blanked this season at all. I've even got plenty of digging at walking distance from my house this season.
