a very interesting thread . it's a bit of a dilemma isn't it. i get it of a lot when I've got a couple of pigs ready to go to slaughter. HOW CAN YOU BE SO CRUEL they ask. I then have to point out that the pigs have been living in there natural environment with lots of windfall treats and plenty of trees to scratch against. when i inform them of the of the life of a danish bacon pig most come around to my way of thinking and the others have there heads so far up there ass , they will never see things from my point of view. hows it going mate? myxie (myxomatosis) is disease that was released by the government in the fifties to reduce the rabbit population. it attacks the rabbits eyes and ears and other holes . they become infected and clogged with puss. it is past from rabbit by flea and other blood eating parasites. it will kill around 97% of a population some rabbits do show signs of resistance. we did have a few local rabbits locally but now they have been wiped out.

come on gents you cant can't claim such a feet of achievement without questions being asked, if not for proof of authenticity but for others to gain knowledge. i did work as a design civil engineer for a few years and a 32 foot hole is a very dangerous place to be in without certain safety procedures in place.

i watched some of the interview this morning. did you see the bed he slept in for 5 and a half months?. not exactly living the dream. i'm glad i watched it to have an insight in to the hard ship he faced and the daily danger. i'm guilty of imagining he had special treatment out there. as for his statement about killing taliban . ummmmmmmmmm what to soldiers do in a war zone. he was all ready a big target. and for the record i'm not that naive to believe that other soldiers have it harder in out posts

i had a bitch that would not catch a rabbit she would course them really tight but would not pick them up. now most people would get rid but after 9 months of frustration and trying everything.(she was a year old when i had her) i slipped her on a rabbit on the lamp she straight lined it and brought it back as fast as she went out. we never looked back after that what a great bitch too. she never did anything bigger and only caught her first squirrel at six. strange bitch but a pleasure to have around.

the point i was trying to make is that in all the years i've watched it they have never said a good word for it. hunting is hunting and trail hunting something else. it was a little condescending to watch look how good they are now only chasing that drag. that wasn't what was said but if you take the time and read between the lines that was the gist of it imo

it depends on the construction mate. 4x2 is over the top . what roof are you putting on it mate? if its just ply and felt and there's only a small roof span 2x2 will be of fine.

give your local builders merchant a bell in the morning. what do you need the 2x4 for mate there's not going to be that much load on it surley
