    The dogs at the teenage stage by the look of things. Try to be one step ahead. Exercising were things no scent is a great idea . let the dog have a run around then call it back with plenty of praise when it's back on the lead . then do it all again but not to much in one session you'll know when your dogs getting bored. A great place to do this is a field were no one walks there dog and no game about . Build up to places were there are distractions . Progression and repetition is the key . If you had no recall at all i'd suggest a long lead .

    It could be loads of things mate. Without seeing the dog how could anyone give you true and honest advice ? it would be a stab in the dark at best . .............................There was one thing that could cover most bases but you'd need to be a sheep farmer to obtain it . It could even be a condition that alot of greyhounds get were then just lose fur on the back of there legs . for the life of me I can't think of the name of it now, It's too early. someone on here will remember it .............. something syndrome If your that unsure pop along to the vets.

    when i was young lampers were easily recognised by the acid burns carrying a car battery because we couldn't get a motorbike one the joys of youth Or was it candle wax burns

    I'm glad I didn't reconnect mine when I had to send it back last year . Going back to to lead batteries was a nightmare with a kidney blow at every fence ...... it makes you think how we used to manage in the olden days as my daughter would say

    That's all you need when you are poaching. A fecking bonfire on your back Could make an otherwise dull night interesting though..... I've never had a dull night lamping. With me falling over, my dog running off and slipping on crisp packets it's always one to remember watching someone sinking waist deep in a little stream always makes my night. It's more the sound they make ......................there could be a new thread here

    I use it about once a week just to kill off any nasty bugs on the kennel floors. the rest of the time I use water. As ever it's common sense don't over do it but it is good stuff

    I'm going to throw HONESTY in the mix because there are a loads of bullshiters out there that even lie to them selves about there dogs abilities. ...................If you think your dogs perfect then how can you improve it

    Fair enough mate .............................. my lot are spot on with stock. I live on a farm and there around it every but you weren't to know that . I 'd be the same too many people out there wanting to get a dog to catch before they've even seen any stock.

    I find mine way to warm to lamp in . I've had a couple of the quilted jackets . I thought i was a bit of a trend setter when I was seeing all the kids strutting about in there hunter wellies and barbours

    can it catch crows of course as long as they're grey and fluffy

    I wouldn't be without my barbour It's kept the rain and thorns off my back for years but I find it a bit warm for lamping. It's got tot be worth the extra money
