    A lurcher off decent parents that will probably do more than you want ,and will grow in to the sport as you do. Maybe more than 2 breeds maybe not ,but a few years if similar lurchers behind it ,if you are lucky enough to find a litter. I'd probably avoid 1st generation 1/2 crosses of most types as it 'can' be a gamble especially if one parent isn't a sight hound . But look at as many as you can ,and ask as many questions as you can ,maybe take someone along . Try and be as honest with hour self as possible ,and don't just go for looks as that 'look'may not be what you want.

    Always remember going to a bull breed show in the early 90's ,it was amazing to hear the chat from lads slagging each other off,and slagging dogs off, the k.c. lot are just as bad.

    £15 with collar lead and dog bed thrown in .was the 'best' price I paid ,never paid big money for a dog , but if someone has money burning a hole in their pocket I wouldn't knock them

    Get a collie GREy bull GRey x sal and you be OK then.then jest sell lamps to get abused lol need some deerhound and beddy in there for coat,and a HID to see it in the dark

    It always been the same between all dog men be the pit ,show men,terrier men,or lurcher lads,nowt new there . Just the internet gives them a chance to say it ,and get a reply almost instantly,rather than just slagging each other at game fairs or through mutual acquaintances just sit back don't get involved and enjoy ,it's cheaper than a box set

    Has anyone got any of the modular kennels The ones that you see at game fairs etc . Any photos of your set up? I'm about to redo mine and am toying with the idea of either those type or maybe get block and panels,if not a ready made timber and galvanized set up,due to time.

    I have not any need to go and join another site ,I just find it odd that folk are arguing over lamps that they don't like or do like. No need to get all pmt mate or is that the monthly thing you are talking about? I think they have been discussed and some like them some don't ,and it's gone into a bitching match that all.

    My lad keeps me going ,he nags me to take the dogs out ,cleans their runs,and generally ,wants to spend all his spare time with them. I have a lot to thank him for.

    so I'm to keep waiting on the hope of getting a collie x from home bred litter? I made my choice and I'm happy with it he's a belting little dog. I don't agree with Hancock ways etc but end of the day I got what I wanted, infact, I got more than I wanted he's easy to get on with, quick learner but not complicated amd I domt hear him. It's entirely up to you lol whether you Wait or not . Great that you are happy,good luck with him
