-
Try Cumbernauld ,grayshill only do beef but it's good stuff
-
Trouble is it won't be just one set of lads doing the land ,once every year. Loads have a bash at it .

I think everyone knows what you are talking about ,and not really a public conversation pub or forum

What serious pest controller would use a lurcher for foxes when snares and traps require minimal work and maximum returns? or dare I say a rifle

Anyway, wasn't Ritchie87 just asking if collie/greys are any good? Lol yes he did, and you gave your opinion, which ,I gave my opinion to.In that if a dog is regularly used on things that have been discussed ,eventually if will get marked up ,I'd expect bull crosses get marked up due to there commitment. Rather than self preservation . My opinion is a 1/2 cross of any breeding is a risk,I'd rather pick a dog out of 2 worked parents that have a few generations behind them ,doing what you want. As to is a 1/2 collie grey any good ..... Let me see the dog work and I'll say. Fair enough lo

It's the heart that counts. seen big dogs of various breeds that don't like being hurt and are more than physically capable , yet know a 10 year old bitch that wasn't fit, overweight ,do it alone with no-one there to help ,until the job was done. Shame you can't bottle it.
-
My bitch usually does it,but usually badger shite ,but the dog is worse. One of the pups I had back,Jacob evo has it now, once heard a bit of noise in some cover ,ran in then ran out just as quick followed by a bloke holding a staff ,covered in the blokes crap ,I don't know who was more surprised tbh.

I'd say if it isn't marked up it either is my getting used as often on stuff that would cause scars ,or waits and it picks a hold ,and that's regardless of the cross. A dog that's used regular on anything that bites WILL leave it's Mark. Now if that suits some, fine . But if you do more than the occasional one that you might bump into, whilst walking looking for other stuff ,it will start to show . Fashion has little to do with commitment,

I've always said this about the pain threshold, though the majority of bulldogs aren't what they where originally, so this doesn't really apply to modern day dogs I think the pain threshold thing is still there ,well with my older bitch it certainly is/was of course it must be less so than a full bulldog of good breeding, but I'd certainly trust a bull cross more so than a lot of pet breeds what would be around children in a home. -

I wouldn't say game exactly.... at least not in the way a good bullcross or wheaton cross is but if they're brought up right with enough confidence in you and in themselves they'll have a good shot at most stuff. That's what I've found anyway.I bought a stock broken 3/8 5/8 bull x off here once..... It was game for anything sheep, cows etc. I did manage to sort it.... wasn't the dogs fault and I don't think it'd ever been out anywhere. Id love another but I've got a small child and won't take any risks (alright his mother said no) do bull crosses hurt children then? If I'd known that I woul -

I would say a dog with a bit of bull in them, would be as safe,if not safer around children. Children can be a nuisance around dogs if allowed ,and most bull types tend to be patient and have a decent pain threshold ,for the occasional ear pull ,or poke in the eye. As game rooster said educate the missus ,as that's how bad rumours start lol -
Just watch it don't get to ground while your not looking ,you be waiting a while.

He's going OK on most stuff ,not a patch on his mother on other stuff ,but he wasn't bred for that (I keep telling myself) but you can't help comparing

There's 3 more on here out the litter flacko ,Jacob evo and d.Lloyd
-
They all seem to be going well, and keep the owners happy

always the same.Mention a collie in a thread and you will have how they are shit, can't do this n that and before you know it, it's a Hancock witch-hunt... Atb with what your looking for. I need a few days off here again, iv read enough. It's not a witch hunt, I think anyone who sold that many pups on here would get the same flack, and if anyone dares mention him in a negative way you take it personally. No ones having a pop at your pup ,it's the person you purchased it from who will sell to anyone with the money.
